This is so pretty! ❤️❤️❤️ I stumbled upon this pattern diagram somewhere online and since I'm new to reading diagrams I was having a difficult time wrapping my head around the left side being triple crochet vs right side double crochet. It just seemed like it wouldn't be symmetrical but watching you crochet it simplified it and made it easier to comprehend. Thank you and bless you for sharing this! I can't wait to try to make something with these hearts. 😊

how much yarn do you need??
@carolebingert72187 жыл бұрын
This is a lovely pattern. Thanks. I had no trouble following, I just paused it until I could see! Why can't viewers do that?? But I changed the directions in row 4 to 6 Fdc [foundation double crochet]. It was easier for me to follow as they are not really treble crochets, are they? Anyway I made a shawl for February using RED heart's new variegated yarn in "anemone". It turned out really beautiful. Thanks.

Do you have written directions

I needed a written pattern so I did my best to write one form the diagrams. Hope they help you. They did for me. Tina’s Triangle Shawl with heart shapes Diane wrote these instructions from the diagram Pattern: start with a chain of 10 1st row - Double crochet in 5th chain from hook and in each of next 5 chains, turn. 2nd row - Chain 3, double crochet in next double crochet, double crochet in the next five double crochet 3rd row - Chain 9, turn the chain so you can double crochet in the back hump of the chain. double crochet in 5th chain from hook, double crochet in in the next four chains, double crochet in the next double crochet, *chain three, single crochet in fourth double crochet, chain three, double crochet in next double crochet, double crochet in next two chains, hold picot so it is turned down and double crochet in picot, double crochet in next two chains double crochet in next double crochet* repeat * to * across treble crochet in base of previous double crochet, treble in base of previous treble 5 times (this is increasing the row on the left side of the shawl) 4th row - chain 3, double crochet in next 6 treble crochets chain two, picot, double crochet in next five double crochet, double crochet in top of chain four. Turn Repeat rows 3 & 4 until you reach the desired size. Picot: chain three, single crochet in third chain from hook, chain two Notes: You are increasing on both sides of the shawl in every row. Rewritten from Tina’s Handicraft. Video available on her website. tinashandicraft.blogspot.gr If the video is too fast for you click on the gear on the lower right of the video. Click on the speed and choose the speed that best works for you.

For the life of me I don't understand when you do the treble stitches going out to the left in terms of where you insert the hook. I tried to follow the diagrams, tried to watch this video numerous times and mine doesn't come out nicely. Any suggestions?
@glennavance31005 жыл бұрын
morencygurl87 not sure if this will help but looks like it's the foundation double crochet stitch so you insert at the bottom of the triple. Hope that helps I didn't try the pattern yet just now found it.

I love your pattern, but I can't follow you. This is so hard to see what your doing. Do you have a written pattern.

I did not see it as a blanket but I believe you just chain more across instead of the beginning 7

I'm sorry but this was recorded way too fast for us to learn. The video was sped up in all the sections we need to learn this stitch. Then while watching your hands are partly out of the camera's view so we cannot see what you are doing next. When you skip stitches to form the heart you do not show us how many stitches over to go then the recording gets sped up once again. Very Very poor in my opinion so I gave a thumbs down for this video tutorial.

there's an option for you to set the speed slower on computers (:

It's not a pattern for a total beginner, but I've been crocheting for only 2 years and found this very easy to follow, especially with the chart and written info on screen. Beautiful pattern, very unusual and I love it ♡♡♡♡♡

WiseEgg Hi WiseEgg, I never knew how to slow the film down and I also couldn’t find the option but on poking around using my iPad I found the settings up right of the screen ... there are three dots above each other and once you click on that a list appears. The last thing is to change the speed! Click on that and it gives you the options of various speeds both faster and slower! I hope that helps! Good luck!

Great pattern. I'd love a written pattern. I know you don't do that. Yet you provide no key to your stitches.Thank you for batting everyone, yet no one can make this. Why bother sharing? It's mean spirited.
