My memory of being a single mom in a shelter with my 2 boys ages 5 and 3. I will never forget holding them tight and promising them that mommy would find a way for us. That time with my boys is so very precious. Fast forward my boys are now men ages 35 and 37 and the bond we formed so many years ago has shaped us into who we are now. My boys say they will never forget my strength and that has made them into the men they are today. My heart is full and I thank the Lord for saving us. Hi Chandi! I found your channel a month back and I have made your lovely lace and ondinea shawls. I have been knitting for so many years but patterns scared me! Your easy and approachable teaching style gave me the confidence to finally give patterns a try! I even learned how to knit faster from watching your tutorials. This is such a cool shawl and I really wish there was a knitting version of this pattern, but I know that’s probably not possible due to the nature of the lace. It's definitely one of my favourites in every base I've seen it in on the website (from the pictures anyway), so it's one that's on my list to order at some point. Hi I just received 4 skeins of beautiful colors to make the Sonder, the problem I have is finishing the beginning of the Yarn and when I, thought, I did it got tangled and it’s a mess and frustrating. I think it'll work up beautifully as well. It'll still be drapey since the pattern is so airy, however, it'll be a bit bigger than the original sample if you keep the same number of stitches. The original same was made in DK weight and you're planning on using Worsted. I hope this makes sense and is helpful. Have a great week. 🧡

When you count the stitches do you include the 2 chain stitches in the beginning as one double stitch? You also made 20 stitches in your demo, I’m looking at the length of the finish shawl and I would like to know how many inches is the finished length? I made 220 + 2 chain stitches but it seems shorter as to the one you made. TIA.

Hi Im looking for a pattern to make cocoon cardigan or shrug. The pattern is made in rounds start with 8 dc in the center in the loop, u them make 2 dc to make 16. I can’t find the pattern bc i crocheted along with the designer, im so frustrated bc ive gone on many websites. No, our patterns are EITHER knit or crochet. The two techniques are not directly transferable. Sometimes we will design a knit version of a previous crochet pattern and vice versa, but you'll always see in our descriptions whether it's a knit OR a crochet pattern. They are never both.

Hi 🖐️ just doing your " falling stars" pattern and cannot get passed the first round because the way it says to increase for size M only leaves me with different amount of stitches and honesty doesn't make sense 🤔 if you could explain to me because maybe I don't get it... Hi there, thanks for your question. I'm happy to help. To work size M first round you will first: *Knit 7. Then you will "knit 2 and make 1". Following you will repeat the instructions in the quotes 18 more times.** Once you've finished that you will repeat everything from * to **. You should have 128 stitches after finishing that round. When you say making it longer do you mean wider or deeper? If it's wider this might help: The multiple for the Cassia Shawl is a 10+2 with the minimum chains needed being 20+2. The sample shown was made with 272 chains. I hope this answers your question. You can adjust the playback speed yourself. Just click the gear icon on the button and put the playback speed to 0.5x that should give you a slow motion video. I hope this helps. 💙

Can you please help. I started with chains 172. Starting of row 4 I am having gap. that is, at the end of row 3, (tr, ch2, tr), then at the starting of row 4, (ch7, turn, tr in the 1st ch made then directly we do our design(tr, ch5, tr) on sl st of row 3.

Hi there, I'm not sure that I understand you correctly. When you start Row 4 you will skip quite a few stitches to work the design into the sl st of the previous row, so there will be a gap. Or is that not what you're referring to? I sorted out the issue and, yes, there is an error in the pattern I purchased for this. The video doesn’t show the correct way to continue on with the row since your sample has so few stitches. Anyway, I figured it out, thank you.

Thank you for your comment. Unfortunately, we don't offer our tutorials in Spanish but you can try this trick: Turn on closed captions, and click on the Settings (the gear icon). Choose Subtitles/CC and to the right of that there is a language option. Use that to select Auto-Translate, and then choose Spanish. KZbin will automatically translate the closed captions for you.
