I would love to change the colours, but I dont know how to change colours unfortunately. i will have to find a video on how to do that ,because I chose two colours to make this for my daughter. thank you so much.

Thank you, as for the yarn, if the 8ply is thicker and recommends a larger hook size, then shape will remain the same and you will have a bigger sized star blanket.

This is a small blanket, made for the purpose of a lovey/ security blanket. TO make this size, 50gms will be enough
