Magic circles don’t change how the pattern works and much easier than trying to fit a lot of DC into a really small ring 😊

I love the way you start off this star, but I wanted to make a six point star, so I modified the pattern just a bit in the very beginning. I chained 6 instead of four and had 6 spokes in the first round instead of 5 and it's working really well! Thanks for all the crochet help, I love the crochet crowd!

I did this 6 pointed star by accident (looks like a hexagram!) - but I am loving the way it's turning out, it's a little more sophisticated than the simple 5 pointed star and will look lovely as an bedspread accent.

this is great, I have the same pattern in a book, but I had a hard time following the instructions without seeing someone doing it. I used it to help my sister start making a blanket with it, and I have adapted it and am using embroidery thread to make a doily for a doily dream catcher. it looks amazing so far and was so quick! I struggled with traditional doily patterns for months, I'd given up and then it occurred to me that this would work perfect with the crafting thread and a smaller hook. it looks great!

Mikey... I am a newbie (1 year). I found this pattern on Yarnspirations and set out to tackle it today. I did 9 rounds before I thought - HEY, I wonder if Mikey has a video on this? Sure enough, you do. However, for the very first time, I read a pattern and followed it. I watched this video to double check myself.
