If you are going to use smaller yarn then what is used in the video I would chain more then 52 (I would do maybe like 58 or 60)

@@chloem9705 I think 58 or 60 is fine. When you get to the end of the row, if you have 1 or 2 chain stitches left over, you can skip it if you've finished the crochet stitches. (Sorry for my late reply)

I believe there are some slight oversights in the instructions for the pot. Row 2 should be double crochet increase, and Row 3 should be back loops only. Otherwise, great video :)

Hi there! If you use the same type of yarn for the pot and the succulent, and the succulent is smaller than the pot, you may have crocheted the succulent too tightly. I think it doesn't matter, as long as it's still cute, right?☺

Roll it gently, and when it gets a little high, use your hand to gently push it down. try it💪🍀🙈

In the 1st row it's 2dc, ch 1, skip 1, 3dc, ch 1, skip 1, 3dc then the pattern repeats. After the last 3dc before it repeats do i chain 1? I realize I'm late getting here but i just found you and I'd really love to make this but I'm new to crochet and unsure if i should chain 1, Sorry and thank you for taking the time to teach a bunch of strangers. It really is beautiful

Flo means working in the front loop only, Blo means working in th back loop only
