@@anupashah6398 Hi, thank you for reaching out. This is a simple project so it’s convenient for beginners. The pattern is basically single and double crochet, if you are used to these two stitches then it’s going to be easy for you. Tip for beginners: always count how many stitches you have at the end of each row. For the yarn: I got the yarn from Turkey but if you are in the US, you can get an equivalent yarn from Walmart called “Peaches & Crème Stripey Yarn”. Let me know if you need any further help. Great tutorial thank you so much!!. I have a question, I’m trying to make a glasses case like this, but with a top flap that is leaf shaped (like the top of a leaf folding over). I’m a beginner to crochet, so maybe it’s obvious what I’m supposed to do in this situation but do you have any ideas/recommendations?

Hi, thank you for your comment and my apologies for the delay. I would recommend you make it vertically Instead of horizontally (like the one I made in the tutorial). Also, instead of working in rows, I recommend you would work in rounds (this will make it look more neat). For the leaf, you can look up Pinterest for leaf diagrams. @@margaritagonzalez1059 You start the pattern with the number of stitches based on your desired size. Then you do single crochet (sc) in one chain (ch), Double crochet (dc) in the next ch. you repeat this until the end of the chains. The next row is based on what you ended up with. If you ended with dc then you start the row with sc. if you ended the first row with sc, then you start with dc. Next row: ch1, turn, sc in top of dc and dc in top of the sc.
