Thank you so much! I was trying to do this stitch with a super chunky yarn to make a rug for my room makeover, but it kept rippling no matter how many stitches I started with/increased by! I'll try the method of not adding any increases for a row, and see how it goes.

@@jessi2369 yes, hopefully that works well for your rug. Keep me posted.

thank you for this tutorial. I'm finding that after three or four rounds my circle struggles to stay flat and starts curling. like it has too many increases, but I checked and I followed the formula right. tried different tensions and needle size. what could be causing this? thank you

Does it curl up or it started to ripple? If it curls up, you may need to add more increases but that shouldn't be the case. If you can send me a picture of your work, Ic an have a look and see if I can figure out what's happening. Just email it to me at info@crochetcrafty.com. Hopefully we can figure it out.👍

If it's curling (aka cupping) you don't have enough increases. If it's rippling, there are too many. Mine was doing it too, the answer was starting with 8 DC instead of 10.

Hi, i like your video wit this model. Maybe you know how to increase filet mesh in circle? My last row of my project has 108 "windows". The next should have 120 "windows" How i can increase it? My pattern consist: double crochet, 2 chain, double crochet, 2 chain.... I would be happy to find help :)

Hi there You can follow along with the method in this video. It is essentially the double crochet chain 2 pattern you are talking about. I just used a chain 1 but you should still achieve a similar result. Give it a go and let me know how it goes. 👍
