This is a very helpful video! Thank you. One point of correction is that you're not using a slip knot, that's a lark's head knot or cow hitch. I very much enjoyed the video and it cleared up a few points for me. Again, thank you.

Thanks for taking the time to show in detail which blocks to use. Other videos have said the same, but few demonstrate. When someone shares their time teaching others a craft, I'm not too fond of criticism, but I think it would have been even more helpful if you had given a bit more detail about how far up we should take the tulle. If your experience is that the waist stretches if the tulle is added to the top, it would be helpful to tell us where to stop; otherwise, we have no clue where to stop.

Hi Ive been use Elastic for my Grandaughters tutu’s but now i know how to make tutu’s with the headband so I bought a few spools of the crochet top material for the waist but I don’t know how much I should cut for my 7 yr old Granddaughter’s waist Thanks

It’s been awhile since I’ve made any tutus with the elastic headband. However from what I remember, measure the waist of your granddaughter, and subtract about 3” and then sew the ends together securely. This material is quite stretchy and one size can fit multiple ages, so I think it’s pretty forgiving.

My Granddaughter’s waist is like 21” and she’s 7 yrs old so I should cut the crochet tutu band to 18” and I Greatly Appreciate you for getting back to me as Fast as you did 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟+ 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Oh and I’m Sorry I forgot to ask you do I Stretch the crochet band all the way out and then cut 18” or just lay it on the ruler and cut it without stretching it out and I’m Apologizing because I don’t know how to edit my comments to you so Again I Apologize

So sorry.Unfortunately, I haven't been able to access my account. Using this one for now. I also wasn't getting any notifications of messages. I apologize. Tulle spools can be found at walmart, Michael's and Joann's. The crochet headbands can either be purchased at the craft store in a spool and you can sew them to the size you need or you can buy ready made headbands on ebay or etsy and you may be lucky to find them at the craft store as well.
