I have to thank you for posting this video. I have been looking for a perfect tutu dress and after watching your video I made my first one. It was so popular that others have asked me to make them one for their daughters and grandaughters. I also make bloomers to put under the dresses and a headband with the shell pattern some have asked for a hat instead and one asked me to make a purse to go with the dress.

I was going to do a plain yoke until i came across your video. THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! I'm making this for my baby niece in lavender and white. Already have my supplies but I have a question: Shes a little on the small side. Pretty much in between a 6 mo. to a year. Should I just measure her chest circumference for a more precise fit and work to those measurements or should I stick with yours so that she has time to grow into? HI. I have made a tutu dress for my 5 year old from this tutorial and it came out stunning! The shell stitch is a hit. looks so elegant but I have one concern. Although I have used enough tule for the tutu I can still see through it very well. How can I fix that? Thank you

Henry Aguirre hey! well... that have never happened to me before!! I think it depends on the kind of tule you are using... perhaps you can add some more layers, instead of 2 strips per hole, add 3 or 4 strips, or you could sew a piece of fabric inside, but that is more complicated, try the extra layers first! ;) regards

arvi godne dear measure her chest size then make chain accordingly but it should be multiple of 6 .... like if u make chain 48 then it will be multiple of 6 or if u make 54 chain it will be multiple of 6... so after that follow this video... it will be easy...and she has mentioned here all sizes ....i hope u will understand.
