First of all let me say that you have the most beautiful videos But 1. Place your camera very close to your work from beging to the end so we can clearly see what you are doing 2. SLOW DOWN PLEASE we all know you can go fast But every time you change rows go slow and explain clearly what you are doing this will save rewinding to see if we understood what you did and avoid mistakes. All this will help us to make the beautiful things you make without confusion. Thank you very much for your wonderful work. Best wishes!!!!!!

I find it helpful to watch videos all the way through, and writing down what she says in each rounds, and or rows, and when I am ready to start the project, I can use both my notes and her videos with ease, and not have to rewind. Just pause at the end of each rounds. I hope this helps. Have a blessed day.

Another great tutorial. I was able to follow along and I’m happy to report that I finished it! Like someone else said, the music was annoying 😬😆 but I appreciate you sharing your talent so keep ‘em coming. 👍🏽
@katrinagreely53993 жыл бұрын
Can I ask how wide the neck of your cowl is? I did the first 18 rows and mine is too short. So I suspect it’s too narrow, too. I only saw her give measurements for length, not width. Hoping to find answer before I repeat several hours’ worth of work. I’m a tight crocheter and looking forward a goal width so I have an idea of how far to size up my hook. ☺️ It’s such a great design and I want to make one for a Christmas present. ☺️☺️ And I agree about the music being annoying. The music loop is too short and it really grates on the nerves after awhile. I tried turning on loud music on my computer to drown it out but it didn’t work. 🤦🏻♀️

I have been a subscriber for a few months now but I want to thank u for your tutorials. My latest sales have been your patterns. I crochet rather tightly so I subbed chaining for fdc but everything else has worked out perfectly. Don't change anything about your channel. Thank u so much. Looking forward to the next pattern u share. Oh and by the way, is there a mathematical equation for sizing on this project? For example, if I wanted bigger or smaller, would I just need to make sure the fc is a multiple of 2 of 5? I noticed in most of your hat patterns, your go to number is 70. Mine is 72. So was curious if 2 more chains or stitches will mess up decreases later in pattern or not?. Bless you.
@hooksnneedles51802 жыл бұрын
I don't think it will mess up the dicreas with 2 more stitches,in some cases depends on the pattern ,but in this case it's ok,and thank you for subscibing!

Will it throw off the pattern if I did regular double crochet for cowl and hat part keep the brim the same?
@IDontSuckAtLifeakaJanis39752 жыл бұрын
Your comment is 3 weeks old and I haven't yet attempted THIS pattern but I usually find that HDC (Half Double Crochet) rows are closer in height to front post/back post DC rows (because on post stitch rows you're going in at the middle of the stitch and not on top, it rides up a bit but not completely to the top and it's also bowed forward or backward which also detracts from height)
