Hi friends! I hope you enjoy the gnome making process. All of the links for the pattern and the designer (Olga Chemerys) can be found in the description box above. ☺

I just found your channel and I subscribed. You do a great job explaining how to crochet 😊 I watched your video on how to crochet a bookmark. I'm starting my project today. Please continue making these great videos 😊 Thank you.

You are very welcome sweetie. I plan on doing my bookmark after I cook dinner for my little fatties, I have three of them (children) I wish you much success on your channel, please continue posting videos. You seem like such a caring person, you remind me of my daughter. She is 23 years old and she has a great book collection like you. I am making the bookmark for her, hoping I do a good job so I can make her a collection for her birthday ☺️

Hi Pixie. I’m so happy to have found you. I have just purchased the yarn to do that very Gnome tree I think it’s so cute and next is the hot chocolate one quite the coincidence. Seeing your work is motivating me to get going on mine. Thank you for sharing. ❤🇨🇦

Hi Nammy!! I'm so glad you enjoyed the video. What a coincidence that we both fell in love with the same gnome patterns haha (they're all so cute - it's hard to choose a favourite). Good luck on making your gnomes. I hope it's a fun and smooth process. 🥰❤

@@nammyg5151 I had trouble with that section too just because it was so few stitches in each round (makes everything really tight). Just try to work one round at a time, slowly, and mark your progress as you go. That's the only advice I can offer. I hope you can get past that part!

It looks great, well done. I’m going to make my own version of this. Yours is a lot bigger than the photo.
@ThisPixieCreates2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Alison! And yay - that's awesome. I hope you have fun making your gnome. I know haha. The pattern used a smaller hook and smaller weight yarn, but said you could use what you have, so I did. Came out much larger with a 4.0mm hook and worsted weight yarn. :)

Thanks Anna Maria! Unfortunately, I can't do a tutorial (show every step) because this is not my pattern. It was designed by Olga Chemerys. I will link the pattern here for you. It's very easy to follow and she has a video tutorial for the tricky part: www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/christmas-tree-gnome-9. I hope this helps! 🙂

Hi Catherine! The link for the video tutorial can be found at the bottom of pg. 3 of the pattern. But if it isn't working, I'd send her a message, and she can resend you the link. It looks like the best place for you to contact her is through her Instagram page here: instagram.com/muffi_corn/. There is a message button right next to her username, so hopefully she'll be in touch shortly! I hope this helps. :)

It’s a simple cone with shell stitch for the leaves, although I would have started from the bottom and stitched in the arms as I went then the only parts to sew is the beard and nose.

I understand that this video is not for you. You prefer tutorials, as do many crocheters. But some crocheters like this style of video, where they can see a timelapse of something being made, and work on their own crochet project as they listen and follow along. It's not for everyone, and that's okay. I also wanted to share a pattern that I thought was cool, challenge myself to make it (as I haven't made an amigurumi in 4 years), and give my pattern review/tips that I found helpful, in the hopes that this might help someone else who is trying to make it. :)
