Don't know if anyone said this already, but you were working into the BL - back loop - just for future reference. I know, I know, I'm a bit critical! I prefer to think of it as fastidiousness. :) Also, I love this pattern, thank you so much. :) I found it a few days ago when I was on holiday at the beach, and I made two already. OH! I added something at the end that might interest you. After the last single crochet row on the strap, I turned and added a row of slip stitches across, and I like it better because one side of the strap (the first chain row) was tighter and the other side was softer and stretchier. So by adding one row of slip stitches, it made it feel even in tightness, if that makes sense. Anyway, awesome pattern. Thanks!!

I found this hard to follow, honestly. I eventually figured it out with the help of a more experienced crocheter, but it would really help to hold the project closer to the camera and more centered so I could better see what you're doing. Going a bit slower would help, too.

on round 3 (for the larger size), what does “increase” mean? If I do 2 double crochets into each stitch, I’m left with 48 stitches instead of 36

it’s an increase (2 double crochets) in one stitch and in the next stitch just do one double crochet and repeat that! not 2 double crochets in every stitch

continue with the increase pattern! so if your last row was (increase, 1dc), your next rows would be (increase, 2dc), (increase, 3dc), (increase, 4dc), and so on.

My only comment is I was taught that (R4) these are BLO...(back loops only). They are behind your hands and they are on the back side (or the wrong side) of your work. I had to frog out that row in order to have the right side of my work shown as I worked the rest of my rows. Have I been misinformed about where the BLO and FLO are?

Im actually finding a water bottle holder for 34cm but im not sure if i make this water bottle holder its gonna fits “i hope it fit”
@mayamancinas9953 Жыл бұрын
I'm not sure if you've already made it but I followed the exact pattern for a 32 ounce water bottle that's around 28 cm around and it fit a smidge tight before stretching and blocking it but it worked. I made a second holder for a 40-ounce water bottle that's about 30 cm around, but I accidently increased the pattern of the circle by two stitches, and it fit nearly perfect. So, if you were to make one for 34 cm, you might want to increase the stitches in the circle by at least 2 or 3.
