I miscounted on one of my straps and it’s considerably longer than the other one and I only realised once I finished the entire top, how do I shorten the long one? If I cut, won’t it all unravel?? :( help

It is weight 4 cotton yarn and I used 125 yards of each color (about 71 grams)

Wish you would have started with the fact this isn’t a full Tutorial and that I would waste 25 minutes trying to get the first two rows to look perfect before having to frog the entire thing because now I don’t want to spend money and support an artist who misled from the beginning.

Your attitude is valid in my book. I own the pattern, & it’s basically useless. Unless you have prior knowledge on how to use a graph in crochet, you’re SOL. I think I spent around $5/7 on this pattern & it’s a disappointment
