They are real pretty. I've made roses & 5 or 6 petal flowers. I'm going to have to try these. Also Genna, so you don't waste the thinner wire, you can twist 3 pieces of it together, which will keep most of its length. Then wrap the twisted wire with yarn. Or use the thinner wire only for the leaves.

I love crocheting flowers. I think my favorites are sunflowers and lavender. When i first tried i bought the wrong wire too. I just used three held together and after i wrapped it with green yarn you would have never know it was too thin 🙂 i used some leftover wooden dowels for my sunflowers. They are really thin dowels but i thought it looked good because typically sunflowers have thicker stalks anyway. I think it worked well. I also wired my sunflower leaves so i could get the shape of them right. The last thing i did to them was use a tiny tiny bit of Elmer's glue and water to stiffen the petals so they would be straighter and more pointy. I brought them to my office in a mason jar, the lavender and sunflowers look so cute and i get a lot of compliments on them. You've inspired me to try the daisies. They turned out too cute! ❤

Just put two of those older stems together so you can have the length. It sounds as if they are 1mm. So two together would be 2mm. You’re so cute! I’m new to your channel and enjoying your process. ❤️🕊

You could use the stems that are too thin and twist two together instead of folding them in half - that way you would still have full length and it would not be floppy 🤔😊
