Hey, I've seen your ruffle hats on tiktok and I really think that you should make a tutorial!! I'm french so I don't have the vocabulary for crocheting. Seeing a video of you doing it would help so much and I genuinely think that your ruffle hats are the prettiest because they are big and there's no tutorial for this type in particular!

Great hat but there is a better way to do all the loose ends. Makes it much neater.

@@jonvxco i have been crocheting for 20+ years. Few tricks i have learned along the way. First when changing colors you want to finish the last stitch with the color change. So if you are doing a double when you get to the last two on hook, use new color to finish it. Makes for cleaner transition. Then you continue like normal. When you cut the yarn and have loose ends, make it longer so you can have it across the row you are working on. Crochet over it as you work. On the last one when you are finished sew it into previous areas. Have it long enough to sew into quite a bit. What i like to do it sew a little into one row, go down and sew some more. Do it in several directions so it stays. No tying knots. I have a thing about neatness for some reason. If you don’t understand i will try to do a video for you. Great work by the way!

So I’m assuming she does the usual ruffle pattern (3dc in each stitch, 3 rows) but she uses a looser tension so that’s why they’re fluffy 🥰. I’m gonna give it a try!

@@zelliahwilson7050 well I don’t have to do anything I don’t want to, these videos are my creative output and mine only. I could make a black screen and that would be my prerogative. With that being said, I do have a tutorial for my hats on my channel with measurements and other details :)
