(I don't have any crochet friend) umm I found/seen many lovely and cute patterns where they use chunkier/fluff yarns (idk the proper term for the yarns) but do you think the end result will look similar (other than the size being smaller) if I use a normal cotton yarn or it'll look really wonky? Hi! I am a new subscriber and already love your videos! The market seemed like a huge success to me! I do shows occasionally and am lucky if I make 250 so you are doing great! I usually make hula hoop size mandalas. When I first started crocheting back in 2015, I started with amigurumi but I didn’t do very well (got too ambitious too fast) so I switched to mandalas. Anyway, you have completely reinspired me to start my amigurumi again! I started to make a giant bumblebee with sweet snuggles yarn but oops forgot I needed safety eyes 😅 Do you have any recommendations for sets to buy on Amazon before I try to hazard a guess? Hello!! For absolute beginners I think watching a few videos on youtube definitely will help - thats how I learned! Try looking up how to make the magic circle, single crochet, increases, and decreases! Thats a good place to start
