If you want, you can make small parrot/popular parrot species in crotchet (budgies, cockatiel, cockatoo, indian ringneck, lovebird, conure ect) I would personally do a budgie or cockatiel

I've found that the bigger ticket items draws the crowd. it catches their eye and they come to the table! I would make big unicorns/dinos and all colorful so they draw people to my table since its unique. then when they get to the table they see the other cute items and end up buying. I find that my sweet spot is approximately $20-$30 dollar range. Hope your market went well!

for the leggy frogs, if you don't like to do a bobble stitch (same) you can just do 4 double crochets in the same stitch where you want the eyes to be. that's what i do and its so much easier. hope it helps! 😸

that’s actually a different stitch!!! i learned it while making a duck. it’s called a popcorn stitch and it looks almost exactly the same.

biggest market tip from someone who has learned things the hard way, have one huge plushie that you don't expect to sell, I'm talking 100$ plush. the reason is for me i sell a lot of bees in different sizes so i have a huge bee for 100 cad that draws kids to the table and when they see the price I suggest my other bees ranging from 5-15

I also sell at markets, and for my displays, i found that the spring clearance and Target's little dollar section have the best things. Plant stands are *the best* for displaying plushies

OMG the snacking thing is SO TRUE. I'm always like "one more row" but I end up keep crocheting! Sometimes I forget to drink water too so I need to be more mindful of that haha!

I find it helpful to crochet my a table and have a cup of water with a straw all I do is lean over and sip from the straw I don't have to drop my work or mess up my tension to drink

my number one market advice to either you or any new vendors! Get those stretchy fabric table covers that attach around the bottoms of your table legs instead of standard table cloths. regular table cloths can be really ugly on folding tables as well as a nightmare during breezy outdoor markets.

I love that you just started crocheting and see all the possibilities; that is the best part of crochet...endless possibilities! BTW a square is not easy. It is difficult to get all the sides even. Stick with it. You will love trying new things.

Follow a granny square pattern! I recommend the sunburst one - I was able to do it perfectly 2nd try as a complete beginner

if you crochet stands on the mushrooms they are great for dangley earrings and when you make anything using a magic ring when you finish,cast off,and weave in your ends the first loop that you pull the yarn through, pull TIGHT then it will be perfectly round
