I'm retired and working pt. This summer I got 3 teens interested in crochet... then they all 3 went to college! I told them to take it with them and if they were stuck to watch a video or find a teacher in their dorms. I felt like SOMEONE in a huge dorm has to know how to crochet. We're coming up on their winter break and I'm dying of curiosity to see what they've done! Also amigurumi is very popular now so I feel that'll pull in some of the younger ones.

I grew up learning how to crochet from a craft book. They showed the finished item which helped encourage staying with it. When you leaarn the different names and techniques how to make those stitches they state how many sc, Dc, tc, etc to do. I too, would appreciate a print out of the directions. I agree with you in regard to pointing at things. I’m never sure what it means either. I’ve noticed many craft type videos now use pointing at things, to get their point across. I wish they wouldn’t do all that pointing, expecting us to be mind readers. Surely they could just explain it to us. Anyway, sorry for the rant. 🙂

Love your soothing piano music its not distracting from what you are doing. I can watch what you are doing and not be distracted, irretated or keeping beat with the music.
