For pancakes & French Toast (it's fabulous!) it doesn't get any better than Pancake Pantry!! Crockett's is okay but the food is mediocre but there's lots of it. Five Oaks across from Tanger Outlets is owned by the same company as Crockett's & has the same food but very little, if any, wait. (And their cinnamon rolls are better too.)

Hey Will & Dawn, there's a new shop just recently opened in Gatlinburg called Olga's Yodel Cinnamon Rolls. It's on Glades Rd and her rolls look delicious! I already messaged the owner and told her to save a Smores roll for me for our visit in May. Lol. It reminds me of the Donut Friar on the inside, small but awesome.

Enjoyed your review on Crocketts breakfast. It looked so yummy. I liked the ambience except for all the taxidermy, that's just my preference I rather see the animals alive. Also enjoyed seeing the scenery along the Gatlinburg trail. I love that you have a deep respect for the park and the history. Another great vlog. Well done Love you guys.

That was a great breakfast and hike. I cannot believe people think you can just up and camp wherever!! It looked like they were either there for awhile or planned to be there for awhile. 1/15/2022...went to Crockett's Breakfast Camp this morning (first time visitors to Gatlinburg). Ordered the Skillet Breakfast that had pretty much everything, 2 eggs, grits, sausage gravy, biscuit, griddle cake, ham, bacon, and sausage (one piece of each) and hash brown potatoes. The skillets came about 10 minutes after ordering and everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) was just warm, not even luke warm just tepid. I mentioned to our server how very disappointed I was that our food was not hot and fresh tasting. He said he was sorry and walked away not to return until he brough the check. $47 for two lousy breakfasts with two beverages.

The trees that you're calling elephant trees are actually Cherokee trail markers. They used to bend young trees so they grow that way and mark trails. Doesn't hurt the trees

We almost skipped cataract falls, last month, because we were told the hike wasn't great. Yeah, it's more of a stroll from the visitors center than a hike, but our 1 year old was able to walk almost all of it himself, which he loved, and we went after w day of hard rain so the falls looked great. Too bad we missed those pancakes, but we didn't eat out at all
