I love how Crocodile has this weird warped respect for Buggy. If anything it comes off of more fascination for how Buggy manages to keep up this appearance through just letting people carry on rumors and through word of mouth than actual actions. He knows Buggy’s whole climb to power and fame is due to Buggy just knowing how to charm people into thinking he’s something greater (similar to what he did in Alabasta). However, for some reason Buggy has been able to keep this up without much trouble or effort and it seems to just keep growing naturally-unlike where he never fully got to that point.

Armament Haki is an equalizer, but it's not an automatic "I win button." Not to mention although we've seen indications from Izo and Beckman that it *can* be done it's probably quite difficult to make a bullet hold the Armament Haki charge long enough to actually be a threat to a Logia.

Haki also wasn't a part of the story until basically the time skip, and we kinda have a weird interpretation now of who can and who can't use it. So I think alot of people sleep on Crocodile a bit since he was from this pre haki era of one piece really. If we scale him to characters who he faced off against in MarineFord though, it's a completely different story cause then he would be like as strong as Doflamingo was. One of the deciding factors I think is if his Devil Fruit has awakened. I saw this awesome theory that Logia Devil Fruit awakenings will permanently alter the landscape of where they were used: Akainu vs. Aokiji on Punk hazard for example. There's also a fun theory that Enies Lobby in the past was going to get destroyed by an ancient weapon and was defended from a Light Fruit eater like Kizaru having their awakening, which is why it's a day island which always has light and also why the entire ocean around it is a whole except for the island itself.

If water splashes on crocodile, he is unable to use his devil fruit power for a certain amount of time , but the man still has haki and a poison hook for a hand , he's not naive enough to rely on his devil fruit power , especially while he is in the new world .

@grammeland1 crocodile hasn't been shown using haki onscreen , because he has had very little screen time since the timeskip . It makes no sense for crocodile not to have haki , he learned the hard way you should never rely solely in your devil fruit power , especially when you are in the new world. There is no doubt in my mind that crocodile didn't get haki during the 2 year timeskip . My point about the poison hook is that crocodile can still use that of his devil fruit power is shut down, also I'm pretty sure he can dodge attacks and bullets , even without the use of his fruit .
