Why is she filling her canteen with swamp water? You can’t drink stagnant water.

I clicked thinking how good this movie was back then. as I'm watching this video, I remembered the countless times i rewinded this scene as a kid. then I scrolled down to the comments. and now I'm laughing my ass off reading 😂

To this day, I still don’t understand why she didn’t just duck her head and let the croc have her canteen.

Everyone talking about the croc or the girl, I'm just concerned about the quality of the water she's using to refill her canteen. That's just begging for giardia.

A lot of people aren't too bright these days so I'll specify that no real animals were harmed in the filming of this movie. 😂

A well done scene in a very entertaining movie. However, while I can suspend disbelief with the best of them, anyone who has seen a crocodile take prey knows she would never have survived that encounter, with or without Mick and his knife. She would have been pulled down into deep water in a second.

not necessarily. In tv nature programs, sometimes Crocs fails to full pray under. Depends on how good their hold is and how much the pray resists
@Whoopdido7772 жыл бұрын
@@mathematics5573 Yeah crocs fail all the time actually. But it seems like it’s usually because the wildebeest, antelope or whatever pulls backwards quick enough before the croc actually grabs onto them. They do still get away sometimes though if the croc doesn’t have a great grip on them. Actually what most likely would have really happened if this scene was real was that the strap on her canteen would have snapped before she got pulled in. Crocs are so powerful…there’s no way that strap could have not not snapped.

Well, the croc was clearly more interested in the high quality water canteen than her legs.
