I purchase my first pair on a whim because it was on sale. On one of my purchases, they shipped me the wrong shoes. When I contacted customer service, they simply told me they will re-ship out a new shipment on express shipping, and all of this at no cost to me. They also said that with the wrong shoes that I received, I can simply, “keep them, ship them back, or donate them”. This is why I will continue to purchase crocs in the future, because of the excellent customer service (and lightweight shoes).

I wore a pair of Crocs as a bartender back in 2006. Super comfy. At the end of the night, I hosed em off, good as new. Enlisted in the Army, wore them in Iraq in 2011. Still wearing the same pair today as a volunteer for a small animal shelter, walking the doggos who are waiting for their furever homes. I honestly don't know what it would take to wear out a pair of these things!

I'm a chef and used to wear the Walmart non slip shoes because they were "cool". After 2 years in the business I no longer cared and my feet were starting to hurt. I've had Culinary instructors and chefs tell me, "the most important thing you invest in isn't good knives at first, it's good shoes.. and I wear crocs." So i caved in and bought a pair. Now 8 years later with crocs, I've never complained ONCE. I'll be buying them forever! They usually last 1 year and it's mostly due to the tread wearing out. Everyone slips in the dish pit, on the fryer oil, down the stairs etc. But not me... thanks to crocs. After a long service of making a mess, I just toss em in the dishwasher and they are back to new

These where huuuuuuuge in healthcare for awhile but then after six months of 8-12-16hr days I started noticing severe back pain. I consulted a doctor i met in the break room and after poking and squeezing my back he looked down and told me in no uncertain terms to stop wearing those crocs. It was years ago and can't remember how he termed it but basically they provide no support and it's like walking miles a day with no shoes on. After giving them up I noticed the back pain started to decrease then one day noticed it was gone entirely. Mine are pretty old but in excellent shape! I went all out and bought the ones with the removable shag insert. After watching this I dug them out and noticed mine stated "made in bolder Colorado"👍🏿 Needless to say I will keep these until I die since this country doesn't manufacture anything anymore and they now have a nostalgia element to them. You rarely see these in healthcare now ,I work in Massachusetts and for various other reasons then the one I stated these fell off the map but then they were made for boating....who knew.

In Brazil they retail at BRL120 to BRL260! To put in perspective that ranges between 11% to 24% of the minimum monthly wage of a Brazilian worker. It is classy? No! Also very few people use them outdoors, specially because they are friggin’ hot to our weather. My kids love their CROCS, but they don’t hit big on adults around here. I have a pair of crocs that I've used for a while, and I love them. They're terrible everyday shoes (especially since I wore some holes in them after walking over gravel and whatnot a few dozen/hundred times too many), but they work pretty well as both sandals and slippers. (Not great for keeping feet warm, but I have socks for those.) I wouldn't wear them all day every day, but I have enough uses for them that I'll probably buy another pair once I decide my current pair is trash.

Yeah, I figure if you want somethign as convenient as a flip-flop for certain tasks but way more versatile and useful, Crocs are where it's at. leaving the strap up, they're perfect for running garbage out to the dumpster or taking the dog for a quick walk. flip it down for more security while you do yardwork/gardening. They're not that socially stigmatizing to wear so long as you wear them in a strictly "these shoes are serving a practical purpose" capacity.

I think if Crocs specialized into practical purposes they'd go a long way. I can see a slip resistant shoe that is pleasant to walk in be very popular among those who work in the restaurant industry. Definitely, their specialty is comfort and practicality. Not style. They need to buckle down on occupational and hobby foot wear like a fully covered steel cap boot option for Kitchen, factory, butchers, bakers, fishermen, gardeners etc. And then a slightly more stylized range for nurses, doctors, supermarket workers, servers, bar staff etc. They could make a lot of money in uniformed industries, working in a factory now I wish my gumboots had the comfort of crocs. And work places like mine that supply footwear buy hundreds of pairs at a time, it's a big market. And oh I wish there were more slip resistant, covered and waterproof shoes that were comfy from my bar days, the amount of times I had walked on wet, glass covered floors, drinks be spilled on me, and just the long hours. I couldn't tell you how many pairs of even Doc Martins I went through in the time I did bar and supermarket work. And Docs where i live come in at $200-$300 a pair.

I love Crocs! My dad bought me a pair for my 30th birthday back in Aug of 2008. They were perfect for exactly what you said, boating at his lake condo. I immediately discovered how comfortable they were. I wear them in the house mostly, but occasionally wear them to make a fashion statement at Walmart along with socks. (I intentionally do wear Crocs with socks because my kids tell me it’s a major fashion faux pas). To this day, those same Crocs from 2008 still adorn my feet and are still in excellent condition and I wear them everyday after I get home from work! Perhaps part of the problem is that Crocs needs to implement more planned obsolescence. I would’ve purchased a new pair had they only fallen apart. I also want to thank you for making all of your great videos! I just stumbled upon your channel a few days ago and I can’t stop watching! I really want you to talk about LPS (Littlest Pet Shop). They were such a big deal in mid-late 2000s. I know for a fact they were gigantic in Europe, because I live here, specifically in Poland. Everybody knows about them and I'm pretty sure every girl around my age used to collect them or have at least some of them. Now they're going for a lot of money. Right now, because Hasbro changed their look around 2012, everybody stopped buying them and now they tried to make the hype as big as it was before with releasing similar looking figurines as before, but it didn't really work out well. Some people, even today, are willing to pay a lot for some of these, sometimes because they are desirable because of looks only and not actual rarity (this includes 5 specific shapes of pets that became popular through KZbin series where these starred in), sometimes it is because of small quantities released and sometimes because some pets are mysterious, by that I mean these pets were never seen in packaging and pretty much nobody knows where they came from, some of these were featured in toy fairs, advertisements and some of them were somehow aquired by sellers on chinese websites such as Taobao. In 2008 or so I was a wee lad and refused to wear anything expect for checkered vans and crocs. I treated the Crocs like a friend(imaginary friend sorta thing). My dear friend betrayed me after it made me trip over a hose and skin my knee quite badly. I remember sitting in the tub forever waiting for the bleeding to stop. I use them for kayaking. I used to use flip flops but they kept getting stuck in the mud and i lost a few. The crocks with the canvas top and canvas strap have performed really well and have never slipped off my foot in mud even when i was hip deep in sucking mud.

I lived in Florida as a kid and these were perfect for walking down the street to the beach. Flip flops can be kinda annoying especially when that toe thing snaps off but even if the strap in the back broke crocs always fit. They were sturdy enough to walk down the street on concrete, and they were waterproof for the beach while still breathable so they dried quicker than a water shoe

I used to have a pair of Crocs. I loved them. They were great for locker rooms and such because they were more comfortable than a flip flop but could get wet and come on and off quickly. Used to work for Crocs retail. It was an awful experience, and I say that working from 2010-2014. I would constantly get questions about the future of the company, and I'm kinda surprised CM didn't mention their partnership with Blackstone sometime in 2013 (been a minute). As a 12 year ongoing croc owner I would like to say that the pros for crocs are enough to overcome their looks. After my first pair were destroyed by my bike i got a new pair that looked exactly like the ones at 6:02. I had those crocs from the age of 8 to 16 and they served me well. I would climb trees in them, ride bikes and scooters in them (I learned how to not let my bike destroy them), I would run like crazy everywhere in them. They fit nicely like a glove and grew to be one with my feet. One day during the summer we went to a water park and of course I brought my crocs. I left them in a designated shoe parking spot by the entrance to a slide that i had just ridden minutes before. When we got off my crocs were missing. We searched for hours and looked around the lost and found yet couldn’t find them. At that moment i knew that i had lost my 8 year old pair of crocs. There was a bald spot in the sole where i balanced my weight the most but I’d say those crocs still had another 3 or so years in them. My mom was nice enough to get me a new pair despite how ugly she thought they were. The thing is, when we got to the crocs store I realized that the design of crocs had changed drastically. I even tried to get the same size that i had before and yet my foot couldn’t fit in it. The next size up was a little bit but i had no other choice. I realized how special my old crocs were because of how they formed to my foot and now i walk everywhere making that smacking sound most people hate about crocs because my feet are too small. All i can say is, even if you think it’s time for new crocs, I advise that you stick to your old ones and never let them go. I will admit that at times I was looked down upon and seen as a joke for wearing crocs. I even had one person that said “If you’re going to wear those ugly shoes you should at least wear a much more appealing color to look at”. Then when the second rise started happening some people that never bothered to look at me started going crazy complimenting my crocs just because i was wearing crocs. On one end i was happy that it was becoming popular, but on the other hand i was a little angry. Why did it take so long for people to realize how great crocs were, and why are people only starting to wear them again because they wanted to seem “cool”. The crocs rise for the more fashionable people is starting to fall, and anyone that sticks with their crocs surely found their love for them

This shoe didn't become popular because of looks, but utility. These are super popular in Asia because people have slipper in schools, various ones at home (in the loo and outside areas, like the balcony/garden), and even sometimes at work. An average Japanese child here, for example, has, perhaps 4-5 pairs. Kids also love them because they can get little 'badges' to put in the shoe holes with popular characters from Disney and such. They're always comparing and admiring these badges. lol

They rebranded years back and the plans made from that seem to be taking place now. They are opening several outlet stores that provide special in store deals while still offering a limited selection of full price items. Now the shoe is trending again. In recent years they have worked more with healthcare and restaurant workers because its really great for them. Personally I never wore them until I worked there, but now every other shoe is uncomfortable. The fuzz editions are perfect for winter.

I decided to buy Crocs for my rain boots and I've never been happier. Just a pair of basic black, mid-calf length rain boots. They're absolutely perfect for walking all over the city in the rain (which I have to do a LOT), and comfortable enough to go out for fitness walks in them, too, so hopefully mine will last a long time. So yeah - for practical purposes, they're great! I hope they don't crash all the way to the point where they go extinct, because the grip on these things in wet weather is amazing!
