I was just coming here to say the exact same thing. Didn't Jackson also retire twice this year from the lead of the race with some minor technical issue (Snetterton & Thruxton)? Mat has been the best driver of the season, he would deserve the title. The car has also been epic, bearing in mind the ridiculous boost restrictions the Fords have been running simply because they have the best engine on the grid.

The Ford deserved the boost reduction, it was overpowered to hell on the straights last year.

I'm not informed about BTCC so much. Does it use fake shits like reversed grid or penalty weights like WTCC? And if yes, then what are the exact rules.

Ballast is for Top 10 drivers (not the stupid WTCC Manufacturer BoP), Reverse grid for race #3, random from 6-10 reversed. There's also a two tyre compound rule which is quite frankly not needed as racing is good enough without it.
