Okay so you are diagnosed with IBD , Now What?, this is exactlly how i felt 9 years ago when i was told i had Crohns Colitis.
So i have put together my helpful tips when your are at that stage to hopefully help you feel better and more positive .

My dad has had Crohn’s for awhile, I never really understood what it was, just that “daddy gets sick sometimes”, then my little brother got sick and he was diagnosed with Crohn’s last year, and then I got sick shortly after and I was diagnosed two days ago. I’m lucky to have people around me who understand Crohn’s, and I’m also lucky I found you! Thank you for spreading awareness and making videos like these! I really appreciate you!

Hi I’m from uk Cardiff, I have crohns , had major life saving bowels ops and battling it everyday with arthritis ,BAM, and other things secondary to crohns , nice to see your channel , have you thought of doing a live stream on this I shave a lot of IBD friends on the Facebook groups and I meet a lady from Aussie @thats crohns chick she is called recently started her channel she goes live too and it’s it’s really helped her channel with people noticing and spreading awareness , if you could go to her channel would be great ,I’ve subbed to you and smashed the thumbs up , stay strong ,stray positive xx

I’ve been having a terrible flare up for the last couple of months- it’s been hard to stay positive when I’m so scared of the symptoms that I’m getting (especially pain, re-occurring fevers, weight loss from D, and fatigue). I’ve got two little ones so I really want to stay positive but it’s so hard not to let stress get to me, but your do videos help. Thanks!

I do apologise for the delay i have only just received a notification for this, im so sorry your feeling so unwell, it's so hard especially when you have little ones but until you get it under control keep telling your self tgis is not forever and you will feel better again. It's so easy to get caught up in the flare thinking this is to stay because thats exactly how i felt also , im sending you all well wishes. I was taking Remicade but now I’m going on Entyvio. I heard it targets the gut directly instead of going all over. I hope it can help I’m excited to see hopefully no bad side effects since I never had it before. This is a great video. Keep up the great work :)

Aww thankyou, Yes it is gut specific, honestly since 2010 i tries every medication you could think of with side effects to very bad side effects on them all so starting Entyvio i wasnt holding much hope on it but a year and 3 months down the line its been the best thing I've ever done. I really hope it works for you the same. Let me no when you are having it done and how you feel xxx 💪💜 fingers crossed for you xxx

hello I have Crohn's and ulcerative colitis. I was on fresubin for a long time many months to help the bowle to heal as well as prescribed drugs. I have noow been allowed low fiber foods, I eat more fish no meat I take honey insted of sugar in my brews. eat rice noodles odd banana yohugerts. soft chees crackers . its working a fair bit for me. the omega 3 oils in fish are good. I have just had infiximab and its supposed to help the bowl heal faster. side effects can be there but its only been hours so will see. bit like chemo are some side effects lower immune system etc. hope it helps J

I was just diagnosed with IBD this Wednesday. My colonoscopy is on April. I feel weak, tired, sick, cramps and losing weight I was wondering what causes weight loss for IBD

🤔 not that easy.. My crohns is now terminal.. Small bowel is completely diseased.. Now effecting my large bowel. Tried everything.. Misdiagnosed in 2014... Was finally diagnosed in 2016.. To late for surgery. Inflammation scars and strictures!

Your right its not.. i have both Crohns and colitis but once i found a medication that worked, it became alot easier though, I hope you find something that works for you soon. xx

@@sunshineandflowersflowers2392 Hey. Your situation sounds really brutal and I'm sorry you're going through it. I just wanted to try and shed a little hope, if possible.. My cousin was on a 100% intravenous fluid diet for TWO YEARS before they even really figured out that he had Chron's. He was diagnosed with a bunch of different things, told he was going to die, there was no help, too late for treatment/surgery, etc.. he kept pushing and found different doctors and eventually got help. Twenty years later he's healthy, rarely even gets flare ups, lives a normal life. So my point is.. KEEP PUSHING! I myself was only just diagnosed after 8 years of suffering. I've gone through 20 different doctors and specialists and I've FINALLY found a set of good doctors who are finally helping. Just keep pushing. Chron's is NOT a terminal illness. I can't say things will get better for you and I understand how hopeless it feels. Just don't let anyone tell you you're going to die and there's nothing anyone can do. SOMEONE can do SOMETHING you just have to find that person. Good luck to you.
