Hi mam . I am from Chennai. My husband got severe stomach pain after covid. We check doctor they did CT and colonoscopy and biopsy. They biopsy only they diagnose mild chronic iletis. And taking medicine penizar hs and librax . Please guide me mam if it is correct medicine. And how long we want to take it. Now he got stomach pain mild only but he does not have diarrhoea and his colonoscopy also normal. But his weight is gradually reduce to 68 kg now it is stop after taking medicine . First of all, I won’t recommend stopping all medications without gastroenterologist advice / follow up. If you stop medication early, it can result in bad flare up resulting in various complications. If the given medication was not suitable for you , your specialist can change the medication. IBD can cause malabsorption, so weight gain will be an issue if not controlled well. Please consider seeing your gastroenterologist again.

Symptoms flare up cheyyunna foods avoid cheyyuka. Ivide colonoscopy every 5 years aanu cheyyunnathu- stable aanengil. Mesacol, azathioprine are common drugs used in the treatment of UC. Gastroenterologist inte advice follow cheyyuka

Doc, enikku 26 വയസ്സ്. എനിക്ക് malathiloode ഒരു നുള്ള് ബ്ലഡ് പോകാറുണ്ട്. Bright red color. Malathinu മുകളിലാണ് അസുഖം തുടങ്ങിയ കാലത്ത് ബ്ലഡ് കാണാറുള്ളത്. Eppol 10 months ആയി. ഒരു തവണ check ചെയ്തപ്പോൾ piles ആണെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു. ആദ്യമൊക്കെ ഡെയ്ലി മുകളില്‍ പറഞ്ഞ പോലെ ഒരു നുള്ള് ബ്ലഡ് പോകാറുണ്ട്. ചിലപ്പോൾ anal ഭാഗത്ത് പുകച്ചില്‍ ഉണ്ടാകാറുണ്ട് . Eppol ബ്ലഡ് വല്ലപ്പോഴും മാത്രം പോകാറുള്ളൂ. But mucus(കുറച്ച്) പോലെ എന്തോ ഒന്ന് മാത്രം( malathodu കൂടി) ചിലപ്പോള്‍ പോകും. കൂടുതലും കാണുന്നത് mucus ഇല്‍ ഒരു നുള്ള് ബ്ലഡ്. Bright red. പുകച്ചില്‍ ചിലപ്പോഴൊക്കെ ഉണ്ടാകാറുണ്ട്. .
