Was the shot where you hit white to make your blue shot legal? In pool you have to hit yours first otherwise it becomes the other players turn.

You do not need to hit your object bal first. Although you do need to do that in pool, that can become difficult (maybe impossible) without cushion rails around the side. So we decided that you can hit either color first.
