Great idea. I recently purchased one of your boards and I'm looking forward to giving this a try.

@@BrownCastleGamesThis was a great addition to Crokinole. We used a lazy Susan frame and simply rotated the board as needed. Very nicely done and those resin discs were very fast!

My husband just got me this set for my crokinole board that I just got from you guys! I have some questions: What happens if a player is shooting at stripes, and a stripe goes in the center hole? What happens if a player is shooting at stripes but a solid disc goes in the center hole?

We enjoy this mini game and we hope you do too! If you knock your opponent's disc into the middle or into the gutter then you lose your turn. If you only knock your discs into the middle or into the gutter then you get to take another turn.

@@BrownCastleGames thanks so much!! Yes, can’t wait to play more this weekend.

What happens if you hit an opposition piece instead of your own? Does that count as a 'foul'? What about if you hit, say, a solid into the gutter but you accidentally hit a stripe first?
@BrownCastleGames2 жыл бұрын
Hey John when we play we do allow combo shots where we hit an opponent's disc first in order to knock our own disc into the gutter. I would say most pool players would require that you hit your own ball first. As long as you and your opponent are in agreement, play however you find most fun!

Really cool, did you invent this?

Maybe it would be possible to play a kind of "Crokinole snooker", where the colours are lined around the 10 point zone and the reds in the 15 and 5 point zone. Players take turn potting a red and then a colour as normal snooker, but the colours are worth the same number of points until all reds have been eliminated.

We did! Yeah I think there could be a lot of fun variants. If you find something that you really enjoy, let us know!

It's literally the rules for billiards just converted to be played on a Crokinole table

You asked who invented it, so that would be someone from 15th century France
