Friggin panel painters.... 1. Double strain your pearls, this will help your strainer from getting clogged up. 2. Wet the entire panel before your control coat, then your not spraying into sand piling 3. When you clear, walk the side..... it is more consistent Just a suggestion from a guy who painted for 30+ years, and sprayed cro-max for 10 of those.

Killer job , one thing I can say , we painter hate dirt ,some painter think that if they get a smooth paint job with a lot of dirt around the entire car they have a good paint job, nothing beats a clean gun finish, what cap did you use Te20 or TI10.

I think I know why you love spray painting, that moment you hop in the spray booth knowing that nobody can come in and disturb you, full focus on the job at hand. Or maybe you just like making things look shiny again. The fluid movement of spraying is kind of like tai chi controlled and calming. Unless you got a pressure drop or run out of paint. Or am I wrong? Thanks for sharing your skills

Love watching re-spray vids and yes, they never flatten the paint before clear coat. Makes SUCH a difference,,!! I'm dry sanding my Chrysler 300C 5 dr estate and then hiring an electric spraygun for the clear coat. Produces 1760 lb per sq ins and atomizes the paint. I used one years ago. It's called a Wagner 240. You just need an extention lead. Good luck. It might take me a while..!!

G man. 3m blue lids 125micron are for water. Those lids your using probably have to fine of a strain on them 200micron typically for solvent based materials. Just a thought.
@TheBrand838 жыл бұрын
The 125 or blue lid is actually a finer strainer!
@TheBrand838 жыл бұрын
Strainers are measured from one strand to the next. And the smaller the number the smaller the holes.
@SoFather6 жыл бұрын
I hope the base coat was pre filtered before going into the PPS. If so what was filter size? 125 micron on pps with some Cromax pro colours will block and you will swear at pot before realising you need a new filter lid. Especially if your trying to use the same filter lid for so many refills 😂 Personally I pre filter with smaller filter size than on the pps. Pre filter with 125/150 and 200 on the pps. Nice job though. Curious if you know the viscosity of the base coat you were using. Din 4 but preferably Brookfield centipoise. Spindle 2 at 5rpm?
