Tod, you might consider a LIDAR scan of the hilt, if you do something comparable again. In archaeology we often turn to LIDAR these to scan objects to develop a 3D model.

Dear @Cromwell Museum , Thank you so much for answering my question (about the size of this particular hilt basket) after I had watched the shorter version of this video with Tod Cutler (from Tod's Workshop) that he had posted on his KZbin Channel - now 4 weeks ago. Thank you for, taking the time and, sharing your insights & these known/recorded historical facts. Really fascinating👌🏻. I ofcourse subscribed to your Channel, after Tod Cutler visited your museum. And I'm watching this extended video version of that recorded visit. Thank you again for sharing all this with the public. 👋🏻from 🇳🇱

👍🏻Exactly, I also loved watching this extended version. Really interesting. I had also seen the shorter video Tod Cutler (from "Tod's Workshop") had posted on his KZbin Channel: 4 weeks ago. But I really like all these extra insights and known/recorded historical facts👌🏻.

@@stoker1931jane I can't wait for Tod to finish the sword and hopefully release a video of his process from start to finish.
