Isn't Optimus effect of prohibiting the targets attack also a kind of defensive stat? because even with so many trigger champions out there, blocking normal attacks still has a certain value. (Especially AGAINST rage heroes)

I don't think it's a make or break when deciding what you want to use. That's going to be most effective against Navy. And while it may give you a better chance those suppressions are still hard to overcome.

In my view Prey+ Bradley skill 7 + Katyusha continues being the stronger between the economic teams. The problem with the splash is that only works if eliminate the target and you have the problem that the objective is random (not centre)

Got her and added to my list. Currently 3 star lvl80 with lvl4 exclusive. She is head and shoulders better than Bradley. Bradley is a defence hero with a touch of offensive bonus if his exclusive is high enough, but Crom is offensive with a defence bonus of shield.

Thanks for the in-depth review. My Army is at a dilemma. I am only VIP6 ... after 18 months a play, so not a big spender. Currently I have Katyusha, Ben, Bradley, all with level 5 exclusives (Katyusha has a level 6 exclusive). It takes me a looooong time to raise a hero to 5*. I have Precyis, Mei, Megatron, Optimus Prime as picks to raise up next. I was hoping to replace Bradley as I see him as my weak-link currently. I was waiting for this next Army hero to come out and see what to do next. My question to you is ... if you were in my situation and had to replace one hero, who would you replace and with whom? After watching this video and reading through your Discord threads I am thinking of replacing Bradley with either Cromwell or OP? I am leaning towards Cromwell now ... over OP ... but it may be just a flip of a coin. Katy is staying in my march for a while. Thanks for doing these videos.

Just in case you haven't I would recommend you finish your perks before getting a new hero especially since you don't have endless resources. But to answer your question directly I think your idea of Cromwell replacing Bradley is a good one. However I would recommend waiting a few days and letting other people test things out to see if any new information comes out. My analysis in my top war hero spotlights has been wrong before. And you're not going to lose anything if you just hold on to those shards for a little bit longer. Kind of a better safe than sorry approach. You could also comment on any of my videos in a few days and see if I've learned anything new. I'm going to keep my ear to the ground and keep looking at Cromwell because I need to update my best heroes list in my discord

@@WGtopwar good advice and I have already taken. I have "opened" all perks on Katy, Ben, Brad and have the recommended ones. HP/ATK. I have Katy fully perked and Ben 50% and Brad 25%. At this point I can slide those perks over to any 5* Army hero, for 1000 gems of course. I will take your advice and wait and see if Cromwell fully pans out and is better than OP or if I should bump OP. I do think Bradley is my weak link ... as far as PvP is concerned. He is a very good base-defender and I might leave him there for a while.

The base skins are likely going to be your best bet. It does depend on your account. Most people shouldn't build Valhalla's so they don't need scar. Silence is a good hero if you get her exclusive skill because she offers a global damage increase. But between the base skins pantheons great for an offensive player The void skin is good for a defensive player as well as offering a supportive ability for your alliance members And the labyrinth is good if you want to make bigger hospital traps. However that's only really useful during EL and with Maximo three stack hospital traps seem to be meta so there's not a big need for it

I would replace Ben. He has been growing increasingly outdated and also is generally only a significant help on attack It would be better to have a hero that's useful in more circumstances just in case you get put on the defense

If you're a low spender and you haven't already I would finish your perks. Which means I would pick Katy since it will be easier to get her shards to help you perk faster. However of the heroes you mentioned I would recommend Cromwell, mega, Katy. Because Ben only works well on offense and he's becoming more and more outdated. However if the options are only between Cromwell and Katy because of the heroes you have upgraded I would pick Cromwell.

Prey has not only an attack increase of a little over 30% but also does a total of 420% per trigger. His damage is great and I believe his trigger rate is pretty close to meta and Cromwell. Though I would have to double check that. But that small attack increase is still a big deal reservist with a hero who triggers for that much damage

Preycis trigger rate is the worst of all by far between Megatron Cromwell katyusha and even Optimus, with the advantage on Optimus that he trigger in first round instead of Optimus.

I don't think there is a huge difference in power between OP and Cromwell. Personally I would save the shards for the next hero, perks, or maybe a utility hero. I wouldn't want to spend 620 shards for maybe kinda better. I want it to be a big jump or I'll use my shards elsewhere

Because he also brings the 50% attack increase to all units. So that not only means his 200% missile hits harder but everybody else's abilities hit harder as well. Also he's effective and can trigger right from the start where Optimus you have to wait. But if I was only comparing Megatron and Optimus prime I would say Optimus for defense and Megatron for offense but Megatron seems to have more of an impact in a fight overall than Optimus does based on what I've seen in players battles. You don't have to take advantage of Megatron's extra damage from vulnerability for him to be effective.

I can't even figure out which one's better but let's say Cromwell was better. Since we are having trouble figuring it out she's clearly not a whole lot better it's just a little bit. So if you add 10% HP when you have 500% you now have 510% But a 10% shield is an actual percent increase not just adding them together. So if you had 500% health you know have a shield that's worth 50% of your health on top of that. So shield increases are always better

I would focus on getting your free heroes to 5 star first. It will be easier and you can start upgrading perks (only available on Max heros) Perks can be switched from one hero to another so they are a permanent boost. Does the ability limiting Cromwell from gaining rage at the beginning depending on the number of stacks you have apply to other heroes such as yuu or is this new and specific to her?

I believe all heroes that gain rage at the beginning of the fight and only at the beginning of the fight do require the same number of stacks of units. So if you gain seven rage at the beginning you need to have at least seven stacks otherwise it will only give you part of the rage

Prime might be the better option there. The new hero and prime are close enough together that I don't think it'll make a significant difference which one you pick. But you already have primes exclusive to level 3. Also prime is more of a universal hero than the new hero. So you can always move him to another branch once you replace him

The shield is an added bonus. The hp is all the time health level. Hero perks purple and Gold parts increase the hp

If you had 200% HP and added 30% hp it just means you're adding and you're at 230% But a 30% shield takes actual percentages. 30% of all your 200 which would be 60 so it's like having 260% hp
