@@WGtopwar For July event, I had a blue and a green left over from June. I bought the 2nd sub for 2000 gems. I had to go somewhere 6 hours later (and the people were 1/2 late), which was a drag. But I ended with 1 green (for next time), 5 purple and 2 orange, or 30 orange shards, say 15 for 2000 gems or 133 gems per shard, which I used to improve All Unit ATK Perk. Thanks for your video!

Good video ... I also unlock both additional subs ... I also get 1 speed up pack $1.99 a day to finish off the current subs and start a new round every night. you get 10 hours worth of speed ups and I usually only use 3 or 6 hours and so I can skip a day or two. I usually end up buying four (4) packs. for $7.96. This ensures 4 subs a day, which by your numbers: 68/16/12/8/4 for a total of 56 gold shards. Probably not worth it for the extra $8.00, but it does help me load up on orange shards. Also my work schedule and sleep schedule allow me to do this. Doing the math ... that's $1.99 a shard? Of course odds may not always be in my favor ... :) This round my subs have not found a blue chest ... yet.

I didn't do that math on using speedups with only a little of time left. But I have a hunch it's not very impressive. But if you're not just speeding up from scratch it's not the worst deal

Just because of how KZbin works I don't want all my current subs who may not be as interested in the subject making numbers look bad because they only watch some of a video compared to someone who is more interested. Watch duration is a big part of the KZbin algorithm

The Deep Sea Adventure wasn't too bad till they recalculated everything and made each search eight-hours long. It's no longer worth investing in the extra submersibles, IMO.

Luck is a big factor of all my free picks I've only ever got one legendary chest and played free every time in a couple years, so like all luck of the game don't trust it When the game says a chance for anything your chance is always half what you think it is the first few times, the more the mes you try when your lucky the better If you don't get anything you want in the first couple trys you are having bad luck come back later and don't continue that's with any chest Working through the luck when the luck is terrible no matter what you do is the only way to get through this game without wasting your chance

Deep sea hunt is worth spending 5500 gems for 2 extra slots, when you are actively restarting after every 6-8 hours. Last time i got 42 orange shards and remaining stuff extra

It depends on how many gems you have to work with. I can see the 2000 gems being the best option for a lot of players. Particularly low spending it f2p

In past months I've had such a terrible luck with this event I've barely made 1 or 2 gold chests per event so I'm not putting my gems on these anymore. I mostly do it for the gem gift event and don't really even care about how many shards I get from this. This time though I'll save my gems and invest on gacha or another better event. I have enough extra marches stocked up so I don't even need the +30d for couple months.

I thought the universal orange shards were 400 gems, as the universal orange shards available in the Hunter's Guild treasure shop shows them at 300 gems, with a tag stating that it is 25% off. So basically they're 400, and 25% of 400 would be 100 gems off, or 300 gems. If I'm mistaken, please let me know.

I say 300 because that's what you can buy them for on average from the treasure store or flash sale for example. I've never actually seen them on sale for 400. The 25% off is just top war trying to make you feel like you got a deal

Thank you for all your videos, they are really helpful. I have a quick question concerning the new top war system starting with server 2082. We do not have arm race anymore and heroes are release really slowly compare to older servers. It also seems that we don't have deep sea event or flipping doors event. I want to complaint to Top War as they let us play against server few days before us that are on old system with 12-15 more heroes and much more powerfull. I do not know where to go to try understand what is going on with that new first march system. Can you help me :)

So if my brain understood correctly(which it rarely does), unlocking only 1 extra detector will get you less shards, but the shards won't be as expensive. And the same goes for just using the free one.

That is correct. I don't think the 3rd sub is a bad deal but it's definitely not a great deal. And if you have very few gems to work with. Only getting the second sub is not a bad way to go

Ya but there are several normal places you can get them for 300 so that's why I say that's the base cost. Like the treasure guard store or the flash sale. Even though it says it's on sale I rarely see it for sale higher than that for just the shard itself

While you only did the math for Universal Shards, once you factor in the Perk Speed-ups and Exclusive Skill boxes a measly 5500 gems feels like you're robbing the game, and I'm ok with that. 😉

I made sure to mention how many orange and purple chests you get so prior can easily figure that out if that's something they're interested in. It seems to happen fairly quickly but class items become more of an issue than speed ups
