I know Roger's serve let him down in that match and he was really struggling. Cant remember I ever saw him serving 3 doubles in a row. But now indoor season starts, the FedExpress is gonna fly high again this year! go roger!!

When the YEC was held in Shanghai the tournament was indoors so that can have some effect on the speed. I think this year the surface was quicker than last year but don't know compared to 2005-2007.

I think the problem for Roger sometimes is that his "B" (exhibition) game is good enough to beat a lot of players... so he ends up coming into tournaments not playing that well or practicing enough, and sometimes he has a hard time switching on and finding his real game.

Has the surface changed recently? I think it was faster when year end Finals were held here.

Maybe together and even then it's a stretch. djokoivc and nadal together are at 155 which is roughly half of what Roger has. ;)

Roger was a man with a mission. He secured the 300 weeks reaching the quarters. He was never at his best against murray and served quite poorly. But it's alright. Whjat more can we ask of this great champion and person. And beware the indoor season is coming. Bwhahahahahahahaha.
