Crooked Cook might need battle damage control like Waboku or Hollow life barrier and Rainbow life to protect from piecring damage

It can't. Having another card on the field is too big of a risk since it turns off Cook's unaffected protection. Even activating normal spells is risky.

You can just activate Waboku or Threatening Roar in the draw phase.

Omg someone used that xyz monster on me until I was able to draw a Kaiju to get rid of it. I didn’t know why I couldn’t get rid of it until I saw what its xyz material was.

I faced this deck. I just synchro out Longyuan for the burn damage and White Aura Whale for the piercing damage. it was definitely hilarious

every time i see cook i like to play dumb and try and hit it with blue eyes, pass a few turns, and then summon max. if they can get exodia in like 3 turns gg, but if they cant max crunches crook

I met this deck once in Synchro Xyz fest and I was using Swordsoul Loaner. I just burn him with Long Yuan and his Synchro. But he is too greedy and drops Nibiru, so I can banish and drop Impermanence to the Cook before he is unaffected again.

I'm toxic Af. I'm the type to use Dark Sanctuary/Fairy Box/Messenger of Peace/Second coin toss/Morphing Jar/Head Judging/Shield Wing/aroma jar/Maxx C/Called by the grave/Raigeki/Feather Duster and Scrap Iron Statue in a single deck. Solely to wait, maybe Search for a single combo. Ben Kei > Power of the Guardians > Mage Power > Noble Arms of Destiny. Nobody likes me, as they either Surrender, or go all out from the get go. I've legit made Galaxy Eyes users, immediately go into Dark Armor, to only Pop them. 😂
