These are the surprising faces of three geezers that gangland’s elite relied on to keep them safe - by getting genuine passports bearing the photos of fugitive villains in the names of others, letting them travel the world doing dirty deeds and avoiding arrest. Let me tell you about it.
The Mob Reporter here with the true story of the rise and fall of a criminal enterprise in Britain with a sharply bureaucratic edge; old-timer specialists supplying the gold standard in bogus ID - fraudulently-obtained genuine passports.
** PLEASE TAP THE THANKS BUTTON TO LEAVE ME A TIP. SHARE A LINK, LIKE, COMMENT AND SUBSCRIBE. JOIN ME ON PATREON!
Meet Anthony Beard, 61, from Sydenham, London. He’s the crooked passport king. The brains of the organization. Long ago, Beard figured out a sneaky way to get a real passport legitimately issued for almost anyone, in the name of a real, clean person but with the photo of someone else, who definitely isn’t so clean.
Meet Christopher Zietek, 67, of London. He was the black market salesman, the broker between Beard and the gangsters. He’s the hardman of this lot, with street cred and underworld contacts. Under his former name of Christopher McCormack, he was an enforcer in one of London’s biggest crime groups, known as the Adams Family. Zietek’s association with the Adams Family was a powerful calling card in Europe’s underworld. But he needed a henchman.
Meet Alan Thompson, 72, of Sutton, Surrey. He was Zietek’s lackey, or henchman, because what’s the point of being all gangster if you don’t have a henchman? Thompson was his chauffeur, driving him about and delivering passports.
It’s a mouthful, but fraudulently obtained genuine passports are simply authentic passports, issued by a government when the passport office is duped by false information. They look and feel legit because they are legit. What kind of clients were they servicing? One of the world’s most wanted for one. Irish crime boss Christy Kinahan, the alleged patriarch of the Kinahan cartel and father of Daniel Kinahan, Other customers included Christopher Hughes, Barry Gillespie, Paul Scott, Michael Moogan, Jamie Acourt, Jordan Owens, Jamie “Iceman” Stevenson, Richard Burdett, James White, and others. More than 100 passports were sold. The scheme was discovered in 2017 and Britain’s National Crime Agency launched a significant covert operation. Watch the video to find out what happened.

I mean, they got caught and had enough info on hand/attainable to police that people they serviced years prior were identified. If they had simply obfuscated all the points of contact with the government and kept zero info on hand, multiple of their clients would never have been identified as using falsified documents. It would take a lot to underestimate these old dipshits 😂

After you were admitted into the EU, your passports are every bit as good as any other member state’s passports while doodling around inside the union. Seeing that precious few outside Latvia speak your language, it’s also a safe one to travel with at the far end of the union, as you’re now virtually guaranteed no one will switch to your language and call the bluff.

How do people even get into crime at these levels and so coordinated? It's truly impressive. They just manage to find someone who can do the job.
