Man, glad you put those feet skins back on. those feet can be scary.😵😂 I have a Cherokee, that needs this adjustment. the wheel is about 27° off, to the right. I just turn left, until the tire starts making noise on the radius arms, then turn the wheel back to the right 2°. works every time....Summer weather is coming...maybe then...😂😂😂☕

I always set the steering wheel where it Is while drivin and then turn the drag link adjustment till its halfway back to straight. That way you never overshoot it and usually only takes one or two goes to get it to PDC spec (pretty damn close)

On that setup with the solid front axle and cross toe adjust bar and drag link steering I would set my total toe first and then observe the position of the steering wheel on the alignment rack and while driving the vehicle down the road. I would then pull into a bay, either the alignment rack or depending on if the truck was lifted enough, a regular bay keeping the steering wheel in the same position it was while driving and keeping the vehicle straight . I would then have somebody sit in the truck monitor the steering wheel positionwhile I adjusted the drag link until the steering wheel was straight. Do a little shake on the steering wheel to verify it maintains a level position and then test drive again to verify it stayed there after tightening the adjustment sleeve. Since the total toe has been set you don't have to worry about the tire wear angles changing. You're just trying to straighten the steering wheel. So repeat this procedure by backing straight out and straight back in until the steering wheel is level. It's a pain in the butt and it takes two people but it is really the quickest damn way.

nope you coulda strung it and been done .... i do mine and never had one more than .4 degrees out... fishing line and thumbtacks go until they all match if you do not know how to string something straight then i cannot help you lol

Yup No worries if you didn’t get it on the first try cause it’s almost impossible I’ve done thousands of alignments and barely get it on the first try. Main thing toe is in the center in green and steering wheel straight… print & save 👍
