What impresses me so much about Cham is he didn’t overstay his welcome in hip hop as so many have done/are currently doing. He came/saw/conquered/moved on and then evolved. And he’s trying to get us into the mind frame to do so as well. Being a huge fan of Chan’s music as a teenager was incredible, but it’s dope that as I have grown up and changed, he’s done the same. Makes it as easy to look up to him at 27 as it was at 15

I think that’s because most people are stuck being comfortable and accepting the status quo. I see this with people I work with. Stuck in the same position for 20 years, always running from projects that will gain them knowledge respect and additional money, never applying for higher standing jobs (that are usually easier) with more pay all the while I started as a temp, never ran from a challenge and always apply for jobs that are advancements and now have surpassed them. Never give up, never forget who you are or where you came from, treat everyone with respect and always stay hungry.
