Uncut videos are always fun to watch. Good work!

That tender driver has a pretty good aim. Hope you washed that aircraft good. Fert is so rough on the airframe. Gets into all the little nooks and crannies. That 502 is a bit slow getting up. That is a pretty good load.

Thank you sir, This is what I like to see, any more vids would be appreciated.

I will upload a few more like this before the next season starts. I have 30+ hours of footage. I'm going to take a lot more this coming season in the 802 with the wide angle cockpit view that seems to be popular. I'm also going to buy an interface that will record through my mic and allow me to explain what I'm doing as im doing it. That might be pretty neat.

Hi Patrick two questions, I see you are flying a 502, a 502xp and an 802 , is there one you prefer over the other ? also, your not feathering the prop during load up, typical of a P&W, are you running a garret ? Thanks for the great vids !
@pcohen854 жыл бұрын
Well honestly I like whichever plane I can make the most money in 😁 which is the 802. If I was getting paid the same per hour no matter what I was flying I would pick the XP unless the only work being done was dry work and in that case it sould be the 802. All the AT's I've flown have the pt-6 and I do jotnfeather the prop because it is unnecessary and it takes too long to wait for it to come out of feather.

@@pcohen85 thankyou for your response. I did notice you are very efficient on your load time. I always wondered if there was a beta or disc setting which would flatten the prop. It defiantly wasn't pulling any air for sure
@pcohen854 жыл бұрын
We rig the prop and govenor to allow for a flat pitch with no RPM increase while the propeller is in beta. If I pull thevthrkttle a little further back the rpm will increase and the prop will go into reverse pitch which allows us to back the plane up on the ground and we also use reverse pitch to slow down the airplane once it is firmly planted on the ground.

Hello, what is the reason for the higher spray height with the fertilizer?
@pcohen85 Жыл бұрын
It allows the fertilizer to spread out further and more even.

Hi, do you find it awkward flying a little higher on your swaths? How high are you flying on your swath runs?
@pcohen854 жыл бұрын
This is the appropriate height for dry fertilizer application so no, I do not feel awkward doing it. I am approximately 50-65 feet high.

Dude they may have permission but if they don't I just wanted to let you know I found one of your videos on this channel" Official instaaviation" I just don't think that's very cool if they did not ask you first. If they did have permission sorry for being a damn snitch but I know how hard it is to create videos.
