CROSMAN 38T REPLACING CO2 CARTRIDGE SEAL

The seal was replaced successfully and no CO2 was leaking from the new cartridge so the job was a success. I can't understand why you would say it does'nt work. Thanks for watching and commenting👍👍

I would assume this also works on a Vigilante! Pretty simple fix nice tutorial Sir Edit; the velocity seems very low 🤔

Lwk, It's the same seal on both guns. An easy fix that anyone can do. The velocity was lower than expected and I suspect that there are two reasons; 1) The basement was very cold..CO2 works best when the temp is above 80 degrees F 2) The CO2 cartridges are very old and the gas may have leaked out causing a pressure drop. I actually found one that was still sealed and completly empty Thanks for watching and commenting👍👍

While you wait, you can soak the seal in some Transmission Stop. Leak for a couple of days. It will swell the seal and make it more supple. Also put a couple drops of Pengun oil on the tip of CO2 cartridge when inserting in the pistol. That will lubricate the internal seals in the valve assembly.
