Crosman PFM16 Full metal C02 BB. Pistol

I bought a PF M16 for target shooting. At 25' with a 4"X4" metal square target I hit the target 30 of 40 shoots. I find this very accurate for this air pistol. I like it overall.

I’ve had my Crosman PFM16 CO2 BB pistol for about 1 year. It was still new, I carefully removed the black grip & wiped it down externally with acetone, then painted the entire pistol OD Green with Rustoleum. The BB pistol has performed perfectly, quite a lot of kills, birds in my fruit trees & blueberries. Very accurate. The paint job still excellent, performance is still excellent. I do apply a dab of gun oil to both ends of the CO2 cylinder before installing…..

@@darrellburt7220 Yes. The Crosman PFM16 is great. Another good co2 pistol is the Umarex “Legends” Luger P’08. (The non-moving toggle version has more velocity)

The trigger gets better with use. At first (especially if you're new to bb guns / guns in general) it will hurt and be a little heavy but a couple afternoons of use will lighten it up a bit. Not too much, but just enough to not hurt your finger bad.

I personally don't mind the trigger pull at all. Yeah, it's not a hairline trigger like a Glock. It's long like a revolver and people who are not familiar have really shitty aim with the long trigger pull. Like I said I personally don't mind and I aim just fine with it. It just depends on your trigger finger strength and such. Like can you even hold that gun one handed? Things like that come into play. Especially with real fire arms. That trigger pull has to do with alot. If you don't like long trigger pulls. You're not gonna be able to hit shit with this because when you pull the trigger really fast in a certain type of way it jerks the gun a bit and therefore throws your aim off. Glocks are where it's at if you like that easy, fast trigger pull

Dont lube the trigger. Shoot the gun 400 practice rounds. Now the trigger is broken in. Remove the trigger mechanism and use an air compressor to blow out the steel dust. Lube the trigger well using Automatic Transmission Fluid only. Petroleum oil will effect the O- rings. Now the trigger should be better.

Not a bad price for a full metal BB pistol. Good trainer for a DAO carry gun. I have been using an Umarex XBG for that purpose, which take similar looking mags. I learned the hard way that the Crosman mags are not compatible with the Umarex ones.

To quickly tighten in a new CO2 cylinder, I get a little pressure on the cylinder by turning the knob, the I hold the knob firmly & twist the pistol instead of turning the knob.

I'm a first time gun owner and I can't seem to load the cartridge properly. Either it won't fire (not tightened enough) or too tight so the cartridge empties completely and gets cold. Can someone tell me the correct amount for tightening the cartridge?

If an air pistol does not have blowback slide there should be no excuse for it to be less than 480 fps. 400 fps is a deal breaker, not to mention that hard to access co2 turn knob.

Is the distance between the handle\grip & trigger short\small enough for a 6 year old to easily reach? I'm 30 but my hands are the size of a 6 year old or younger. My fingers are very tiny (like unnaturally short, almost cartoonish). All of the co2 even children's toy guns I've seen so far are way too big for my fingers, can't reach the trigger (which is why I can't own a real gun). Would this fit my extremely short fingers?

Make a hardwood dowel a bit smaller than .177". Put no steel in your barrel. Keep track of your shot number so the CO2 doesn't get too weak.

My PFM16 shoots 1 bebe and then will not discharge another one until I remove the cartridge and shake out a bebe from the gun itself. They seem to be getting stuck after every shot. Once I drop that loose Bibi out I can engage the cartridge again and it will shoot properly but I have to keep doing this it did not do it when I 1st bought it I've had it for about 6 months. Do you have any idea what's wrong with it

Looks like a more styish version of the Anics A101, and the mechanism looks to be the same (trigger pushing the barrel forward). If I didn't already have a A01M I'd pick of of these up.

Really like the pistol and agree the trigger is quite hard to pull when in the firing mode. Would like to get a parts diagram so I could possibly reduce the pull but I cannot locate any parts suppliers. Any suggestions?

Yes, disassemble it, making sketches and taking photos at every step. Do so in a big cardboard box the first time, so dont lose any springs or spring loaded parts. Take your time.

Probably about 320 fps. Short barrel. Will kill small snails, mosquitoes. Great for target shooting.

First off it’s a pistol and second gloves give you grip and they look cool with the gun and you don’t need gloves for a real gun either or a BB gun it’s a choice

You haveTo tighten down the C02 very fast... if it still leaks after it is fully tightened ,, you have a defective O-ring I need to replace ... the take the gun back If you just got it

lynette vallejos try firing it without the magazine. If that doesn’t work take out the screw at the end of the barrel, take out the barrel and the bb should fall out

i have the same gun and was having the same problem especially with the extra mags that i got. I found that if i use a two hand hold and apply a bit of pressure to the bottom of the mag while shooting it keeps it from jamming, give it a try and good luck.

Had the same problem when I first got the pistol and realized that I was using "old" BB's that were very dirty, bought some new BBs and no more problems.
