When I heard "Sick and Tired" the very 1st time, I was 2 rooms away from the CMT on the TV. When I heard Lee Ann, it literally stopped me in my tracks! ... I actually cried, like a baby. ... Bought "Wormy Dog" the same day.

@@cur8239 How funny you should ask RainOnATinRoof why so unhappy and then in the next sentence you sey you lost your love of music because of an ex-girlfriend. How could you lose your love of music because of an ex-girlfriend? If I don't have music, I have nothing. It feeds my soul. These lyrics are amazing and it is not a country song by a country band, as if that should matter. They were an American rock/country band; as an added bonus lead singer Cody Canada was/is gorgeous. Never let anybody interfere with your love of music - whatever category. Amazing, life-changing music can be found in every genre.

I've gotta say... LeAnn Womack... wow. What a beautiful lady (still is) with a God given voice. And if only today's youngsters didn't twist country music so much into other genres that already exist we might still hear other great country bands make it to Nashville radio. Fond memories growing up with the sounds of Alabama, George Strait, Chris LeDoux, Boland and Ragweed.

It's 12am, 5/28/23. I woke up just feeling exhausted. I keep myself in this rotation. Wake up, do my daily chores and go to work. Literally felt. No sort of enthusiasm at all since I've been up. Told myself "I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired." Idk why but I decided to Google those words and found this song. Really hits.

Got your bag on your shoulder, Never thought once about thinkin' it over. Feel like you're the only one, Who's ever been in a bad situation. Now you need to take yourself a love vacation, 'Cause after all, what's done is done. Sick and tired of being sick and tired. Everything around you's growin' old. The days drag on, the nights last forever, Every day's tougher just to keep it together. Forget everything you've ever known, Except for home. He made a promise he couldn't keep. I bet he's not losing a bit of sleep, Over how you're getting down the line. Now don't you fret, now don't you worry, Don't get in too much of a hurry, 'Cause up ahead's that city limit sign. Sick and tired of being sick and tired. Everything around you's growin' old. The days drag on, the nights last forever, Every day's tougher just to keep it together. Forget everything you've ever known, Except for home. Home is where the heart is: That's what somebody once said. (Yeah.) I think your heart is where your love is: All the rest baby, the rest it's all in your head. Well, memories, they're over-rated: All they do is get you down an' frustrated, And who needs that on their back? Starting over, cold turkey, Washin' your soul of everything that's dirty. Seal your heart of every crack. You're no longer sick and tired. Everything around you feels brand new. Yeah. the days fly by, the nights could be longer: Every day you're just a little bit stronger, Now that you've spread your wings and flown, Back to home. Back to home. Back to home. (Home.) Yeah, back to home. (Back to home.)

Man how I miss sitting on a tailgate at a bonfire in the country rocking CCR, No Justice, Stoney Larue and Jason Boland. Literally every song CCR sings I can play a memory with that song. It will never be the same without Cody as vocals for CCR. Thank you guys for being such a big part of my years in high school, you guys got me through the worst times and were there through the best... I think that's a testament to the music and artist living on through the years. They sang from the soul and not through auto tune.
