@@SpectrumGeeks I remember in your air law video didn’t you say it expired in may 2023 And if it does would you have to do all your exams again? Also what flight school do you learn out of?

@@budgetmarge4806 Thats correct, I have to be done and passed with ground school by May or have to start over :( Just as well I only have the one left to do :) I am learning at Staverton in Gloucester.

Flying wise I have a mock test next week, then all being well I will get my final skills test booked in. I also have one more ground school exam to do, and also get my radio operators license. So nearing the end of this part of the journey now.

Is always painful watching own videos back though remember you are probably a lot harder on yourself. I think every pilot thinks their radio could be better. I've got one more solo fly away and GST to do, but for a PPLM. I have first refusal for a CT2K so that will get me places cruise at 135knots all day. It's been a real struggle as many setbacks out of my control 🤣 almost taken me 2 years.

The CT2K looks like a nice craft. Thanks for the feedback on the self assessment, and best of luck with your final tests. 2 years isnt to bad, I am taking longer than I planned due to weather, instructor availability, etc, but its important to do well than to rush in my opinon.

@@SpectrumGeeks yeah good way of looking at it. I have 5 types and I've not passed yet. from the super fast CT2K to the 50kts everywhere X-air. Same thing like you say, weather, plane serviceability, when weather and plane perfect you have to go to a wedding or something 😩

Do you land and take off or do you get out and have a look around and do you have to pay for every landing at each airport ?

For your cross country qualifier you have to get out the plane, pay your landing fee and get a form signed to show you were there, and if you did anything wrong they will write it on the sheet. When I went to Cardiff I had to wait a while to get the form signed, but when I got to Wolverhampton I did stop for a drink and something to eat before heading back to Gloucester.
