Hi Dale, good to see you back. I stalled the GES system myself and had a similar problem with the top flashing, eventually abandoning it. I'm not sure why they sell it as even with a flat tile, it leaves a large gap & is so wide that it can't accommodate a mechanical fixing close enough to any potential uplift

Looking good Dale. I would definitely be after compensation for panels installed not as specified although as you say only a small difference. I would also be concerned about the spots which the installer should have picked up. Still jealous however!! Looking forward to part 3.

Installer myself, I would have used a tilt fillet along the lower flashing to stop it dropping in over time creating somewhere for the rain water to pool. Is seen behind you it’s already creating a pool days after install. Other than that clean install 👍

What particular part are you referring to? The GSE in roof solution, the panels, batteries, etc?

Looks great, look at optimizers to address shading. We are installers.

Thanks. I did look at the Tigo optimisers, but decided I will see how much of an impact the shading has first.

Hey - I’ve just watched your video (part 2)… you say you were supplied with stuff that changed from what was initially detailed… I’ve had loads of errors - told panels would be 475w and would measure 1722 by 1134. However what arrived were 1906 by 1134 - which didn’t fit my roof. I’ve had such issues with my supplier… I wondered if it was the same supplier? Did you take any action against the supplier?? Thanks 😊
