I know I played this game before, I remembered the eye. For some reason I was thinking the graphics were better than this. I guess back in 83 it was impressive.

I've got a 1983 original Exidy Crossbow arcade cabinet in my game room. So much fun! It's right next to Gaunlet, another awesome game from the 80's.

I was always attracted to play this but I sucked at it. Looking back at it so many years later, it was pretty innovative for the time (the sound effects and larger multi colored sprites). I remember the old mechanical popup shooting arcade games, like Midways Haunted House gun game, that were so fun before they switched over to video games.

This game was a sensation for me in the Hall(1983). The best was the big Eye.Uuaeha!!! 5000 points.

I got this as a 2600 cart hand-me-down. I thought it was a weird game and had to figure out what to do. It makes more sense to learn it was an arcade game for a light gun. I learned that nearly all their games made by them in 1977-1980 were arcade ports. Pity they didn't include the boss level on that version; would have made more sense to have a story.

I remember playing this game at a KOA in New York. It wasn't even a quarter to play it. I think it was a dime. Now I can't even go to a KOA with any arcade games.

Totally forgot about this game until now. I remember the cabinet looked awesome with the crossbow light gun, but I don't think I dumped many quarters into it. It was a difficult game.

This game was way too hard for me as a kid at the arcade. I feel like the crossbow was difficult to maneuver, and of course it was broken most of the time. I was always fascinated to know how many different bonus characters you were given. If I'm correct, I think there were 7 characters total? Fun stuff!

@@HIDEFACES With all due respect, not a freaking chance. The crossbow was big and clunky, on a pivot, and had iffy iron sights. This was a pretty impressive playthrough, though.

What are you playing this on? I tried a 7800 emulator and was shocked by how poor the graphics are. I'm glad I never bought one. Really not much improvement over the 5200.
