Crossbows are neat but if you got out for 20 minutes you’ll fire ten arrows. Compound you can shoot more quickly it’s less of a process. I love both of my bows

Broad heads are better for causing more internal bleeding, but field tips do way better at penetration. The broad heads have too much drag once they hit the target.

Make sure you match your arrows to your compound bow. Spine size, draw length, all that stuff can severely effect your bow's performance. Always have your bow shop match a set of arrows to your bow, or it'll never perform right.

Arrows (particularly premium ones) cost a lot more than bullets do. Those 10 point arrows are 15-18 each or so.

Yeah those helmets are really a gimic.....no force on earth would actually outfit themselves with those due to low visibility and low movement. Speed and perception win the battlefield and anything slow and clunky just gets overwhelmed no matter how “bullet proof” it is

modern military helmets with digital optics have a 360d view. Even better with NV. Plus visual data displays. But the real world cost is only ever made it to limited testing in the field.

Sharp arrows shooting at those speeds will go threw alot of kevlar, just because of the extremely sharp tip and the 400 Fps or more with his crossbow, if the arrows were flat or rounded like nine millimeter bullet shape it would just bounce off and break the shaft! Edwin, the long bow is going to top out around 170fps depending on the arrow weight, draw length and draw weight.... Your compound will only make advertised speed at 30 inches draw length and 5 grains arrow weight per pound of draw weight
