Personally I would of liked to see them play MK for bit longer. This game is way easier to learn than sf. If they just spent like 30 mins in training mode they could learn anybody they wanted to.

Shotgundam009 Being easy isn't necessarily a positive. There are a lot of braindead mashers out there playing inferno scorpion, any ermac, liu kang, GM Subzero, etc that just make it incredibly un-fun, ESPECIALLY with the netcode being as trash as it is.

Mhn Five The bitching of fanboys is too mighty, that's what happens when you build up a channel on one thing and try to do anything else. But, if they simply went back because they just didn't like MKX that's fair. They shouldn't play something they're simply not enjoying. Or maybe they're just "acting" for the camera to cause drama.

Mhn Five I've seen quite a lot of other channels with MKX and honestly, seeing the same combo again and again and again just because it's a guaranteed 39% damage just isn't fun.

***** While that is prevalent among the higher tier characters, it's an inevitability. There's always going to be that Vergil player. always going to be that Kung Jin player, always going to be that Jin Kisaragi player. Besides, I always believed these two would've started enjoying M simply because they would take a more footsie-oriented approach to it. Many MK players can't stand against decent neutral.

***** I feel like it's the same with SF though, to me it looks like they're always doing the same combos. Plus the fireball spam. I remember the first time I watched a "pro" tournament finals match it was almost all fireballs and thought wtf is this shit? How can anyone enjoy playing this? I'm sure there's a lot more that goes into their decisions than just mindless spamming and repeating the same combos but from an outsiders view, that's what it feels like. SF is more slow paced and I think does reward strategic thinking/reads far more than MKX. With that said I'm not a pro or even average competitor (among pros) in either game but I've started to watch my fair share of fighting games on youtube. I don't think I'd ever enjoy playing any fighting game professionally. I want to do stupid shit that just looks cool to me rather than the most optimal thing possible.

Hey G & MR.....You gents should take a spin on something new and different for just a week or so. Before the hatred comes my way, I suggest giving the game Warframe a play on Xbox One/ PS4. It would be interesting to see you two play a different type of game together.....just for a little bit of time. Look into it. Get a console and tv for each of you and play in squads together.
