I just seen these guys in Seattle 3/11/24 at the Moore Theatre, it blew my mind! It was the last show of the tour too. They sounded amazing, Chino's voice sound just as good live as it does on the album if not better. Option was the last song they played too, a memory I will never forget.

"Option" is my favourite song off the ††† album for sure. The bridge part of the song from 2:15 onwards is almost in-describable in words. The way Chino's melodic voice is absolutely beautiful and has brought me to tears many times but in a good way and I can't really explain it but it goes right to my soul and times when I haven't even felt upset or like I've needed to release emotion, A certain Deftones "Saturday Night Wrist or "Koi No Yokan" section of a song can make me almost have a mini breakdown out of nowhere that lasts only about 5 minutes but I always feel amazing afterwards. Sorry if that sounds weird to anyone it was for me the first few times but anyway I guess the Love is too much some times. Everybody dies alone but my Love for Deftones and my Love For Music in General, can't ever be taken from us and will be coming with me to the grave and I can take comfort in knowing that.

I've listened into some tracks from Crosses before, few times here and there, but for some reason I never really gave them a proper try to take the time and go through their songs. Few months ago I have stumbled upon this song from them on my recommendation. Hearing it for the first time, at the time being in a sort of vulnerable state in my life, I can't describe the intensity of emotions this song has brought out from me. Expecting a somewhat grungier track from the intro of this, then being masterfully swayed into the ever intensifying trip of powerful, sentimental and absolutely beautiful, but somehow still bitter parts of the song, this experience has put me in a state for days where all I had on my mind was "op†ion", and somehow suddenly everything felt... monochrome. It was exactly what I needed. I would say I wish I found this song earlier, but the perfect timing of me hearing it for the first time makes this song feel heavensent and really important to me. Months has passed since, but I still believe this to be my favourite song.

I just had the fortune of seeing Chino and Shaun last Tuesday at their debut in Mexico. For this concert I dared to invite the girl I had fallen in love with years ago in college, but I hadn't had the courage to talk to her. The pandemic happened and we started to have a long-distance friendship, but never close interaction. We both went through tough times the last few years, but the Crosses concert was what connected us, I won the tickets in a dynamic and finally dared to invite her, this concert being our first outing. The meeting and the moment were magical, I felt as if I had found someone I had known for a while. Option was the song that closed the setlist, being a beautiful moment.
