When I started my first year at university I shared this song to my ex-girlfriend. It became our song and every time I listened to it felt magical. We where from different cities so the lyrics, specially at the end, were really meaningful for both. Listening to this version reminds me a lot of how i felt then. It's kinda sad but also it heals, like the feeling when you finally close an old wound.

I thought about the times when it could have turned out differently if I never had to almost die from a stress stroke that would cause my former ex to leave.. we were distance away across the state, though the times we made together when we’d see each other is something I could never have anyway differently. All the promises we’ve made, and her having to give me up during my near-death experience is something I can never get over entirely. This song is probably the closest thing to how I’m feeling lately
