I would've liked to have seen Serato further develop the SP 8 sampler more like the Traktor Remix decks but at the same time I don't think users take advantage of it other than mainly for one shots

How come when you change banks it cuts off the one that has already been triggered, is there a way to change this so i can move on to a different bank and choose a different sample or FX?

Hi crossfaders! Nice video. I have a ddj-sx2. Is there any way to create a loop using my the sampler? In other words, is there any way to record myself while I'm playing a beat with the sampler and then use the recording? This way I could mix the loop live with my playing decks.

how do you save a loop, and drag that into the sampler section?? i know there is a way to do this.. somehow.. In SERATO... any help Crossfader ?

The way I do it, is if I hear a loop during a live set, I drag it onto another deck (3 or 4 means I can work on it and not interrupt flow...). Set the loop. then just drag and drop onto a sample deck. Boom :D

@@illustrationmaking Set a loop and then under the hot cues you'll see that loop next to a unlocked padlock. Click the padlock and the loop is saved. You can then drag this straight to the sampler and the loop is set as a one shot sample thats looping. Unloop the sampler and boom, done!
