Thanks mate. I’m a wedding dj and I have to adjust the master volume frequently for gigs, so I therefore have to adjust the mic volume as well. Lots of trial and error haha. Constantly adjusting

Thanks, some great tips in there. I've never used a mic before and have a gig coming up. I'll come back on how it goes!

Hey! amazing videos, thank you. I am a Djane and singer, I just bought a mic (Beta 58A) and I am unsure on how to place the mic so that I can mix and sing at the same time without feedback interference. Its been hard to find videos about this.

Great stuff mate but you have a mistake in the title of the video since this is episode 4 of the series not 3. After all this is all helpful for me for the future!

Can you please talk about EQ'ing the mic for DJ's? I cannot seem to find anything on it.

Deeper male voices usually sound better with the bass rolled off and some highs added, you don't want to sit inside the lower mids with a club system. We explain this further in our Microphone Guide inside the DJ Hub! wearecrossfader.co.uk/dj-hub/

Hy . I am in despair. My DDJ-RZX outputs the microphone on master and I can hear it on the stereo system connected with chinch. However, I can't hear it on the streaming software OBS when I want to stream. My Controller Software is of course Recordbox. Do you have a tip on what the problem could be? Kind regards from Germany.

ughhhh the death of me.. i always hire an MC, when i should be pocketing that extra money, and doing all the Mic work myself.. I have been practicing at kids parties.. which has helped, but still very uncomfortable when doing more formalities, like weddings, and sweet 16s..

Best advice i was given when i started out in mid 1970s was if your nervous about talking to a big crowd then pick out just ONE PERSON and talk to them. Why ? Because you then are talking too people NOT AT THEM.. I do think its important to have your mouth ( top or bottom lip) actually touching the mic. Why? Cos this allows you to talk slightly quieter therefore coming over clearly.. Good vid some good info.. Best EVER ADVICE... No excuse for BAD LANGUAGE. Just shows a total lack of intelligence

i hate the term wedding dj theres no such thing we are all djs full stop i can do any genre u want same for others out there as well , so to me wedding dj is non existent , in the 60s, 70s, 80s, every dj i knew played everything no such term as wedding dj , we played in clubs did mixing beat matching all with our hearing you even had the odd dj rap as well, being a dj is a skill on its own , you learn as you go along, using the mic comes with experience, so in my view it comes natural in the end, ie jamaican sound systems use a selector and a toaster or chatter on the mic so wedding djs rap djs or what ever dont exist in my view

I think that "djs" who tries to be jukebox should stop. Retire. You are the ones who makes the club moving. If you are clueless how to do it. Quit. Go do something else.
