It's really ironic the people complaining that there is too much autotune or effects in this song. First, there isn't any autotune (at least not blatant, maybe just a hair to make the vocals ~smooth) and Second, Crossfaith have been heavy on effects since DAY ONE. I'm not saying people have to like the song, but if you list either of those two reasons I call bullshit.

I see a lot of people complaining about the sound change, but I really like this. This is still electronicore; just because there are clean vocals (singing, not screaming), doesn't mean it's pop. I feel sorry for people who only listen to one type of music, or in this case only like the music if it's as heavy like their old stuff. Heaviness isn't the only thing that can make a song good.

People are saying the same things about Bring Me The Horizon's new songs. "What happened to their old sound?" "Why isn't there screams" blah blah blah. Bands evolve, especially on record labels. It's actually good, because they know they can add more elements to what they can do. Ken is an extremely talented vocalist, screaming and singing. They're still doing what they love and they still bring the energy and stage presence.

I'm tired of closed-minded opinions in commentaries. I just can't understand why people can't accept that a band does not need to stick to a certain style, and bands who try to find their sound are criticized for not repeat the same shit they already proved that can do well. Don't get me wrong, I love what Crossfaith has made on the past, but does not mean that this is crap. I think this song is good. It's fresh, catchy and does not sound like another typical hardcore/metal band. The clean vocals are fantastic and balanced with some screams and the song brings the energy in the chorus with the electronic base, that brings like the whole atmosphere of the song and the video. This is just my opinion and you can take it or not, that's why comments exist. Just don't be a beggar and ask to "fix" Crossfaith cause they are better than ever. There is no old or new Crossfaith sound, just a band making the music they like. Bands wanna catch all the attention possible and sticking to a sound limits their fanbase a lot. With this song a lot of you can loose "hope" for them and leave, but I'm glad if you never come again. Listen their old stuff, listen the thousands of similar bands out there who does not try to be original or take the risk of do something unique and fresh, you can do whatever you want... but just don't beg. If you are not a fan now, you've never been before.

This reminds me of Skrillex's Raga Bomb, purely in the way that it was so unexpected, nothing like what they usually do, but still freaking awesome. Like, if people like him can be so diverse while maintaining a solid sound, why can't Crossfaith? This is great stuff, it's different from the previous Crossfaith music but that's a positive. I don't want to be listening to multiple albums/songs that sound incredibly similar and I'm sure Crossfaith don't want to be producing albums/songs that sound incredibly similar and would rather expand as a band and venture down new paths. Really excited for the UK headline tour though, I've only ever seen videos on the internet of Crossfaith live and from what I can see they appear to be one of the best live bands around.

as someone who has very recently started listening to these guys i see nothing wrong with this. it's not as heavy as their other stuff but it's still heavy. there's no autotune so idk why the hell everyone keeps saying there's too much. if anything there's a slight bit of reverb but there's sure as hell no autotune going on here. this is also more melodic than their other stuff. not just chugs.

So basically some people are saying that in this song they are using too much effects and it doesnt sound like the previous ones therefore it is bad ? I understand how it feels like to see the band change or trying different thing. I've also experienced it with Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. However, there must be some kind of reason why they are doing it and I personally think they are doing to make things better, to improve, to find their own style. And i think and believe that Crossfaith is not one of those bands who changes their style to just satisfy the listeners, but who keeps on being themselves and not being what the fans want them to be. So what I'm trying to say here is that dont judge or be disappointed just because it's not like before , they are still on the way of improving, and this is one of them. So accept the changes, you can judge them afterwards but not now and i personally thinks its more interesting to see what they are going to be like in the future or how they are going to evolve instead of just being disappointed or stop listening to it now. However this is only an personal opinion so dont take it too serious k? Love you Crossfaith and let's all enjoy what they are :)

I have such mixed feelings about this song. It's not bad but it doesn't sound like a Crossfaith song. Of course a band can (and eventually probably should) change but I don't know whether or not this is a change for the better. The instrumentals are still Crossfaith but the clean vocals just don't work for me in this song at least. I do think that Ken has some good sounding cleans (although his English still needs some work) but there is simply nothing like his screams/growls. I'm curious about the direction they're going.

I personally don't think this sounds bad in the slightest, the chorus is really catchy and upbeat, the instrumentals are still typical Crossfaith and Ken has some good cleans. It just sounds nothing like they've done before. Regarding the matter that this song won't go well live, I think it will. The chorus will be amazing live! I can already see the crowd going crazy on it. The fact that it is not that heavy might even help it stand out.

This song is fucking amazing. I don't think their sound is changing I just think they wanted to do something a little different. I think their next album will be just as heavy as their previous ones, I just think they wanted to do a song with clean vocals for once. I mean with a chorus as catchy as this I am grateful they decided to make it instead of stick to their normal fully screamed song. I would like to see a little more of these new cleans in the future. Not a ton of them, just maybe on a couple songs in every future album.

"This isn't crossfaiths style" "This doesn't sound like crossfaith" Yes it is crossfaiths style and yes it does sound like crossfaith, FFS it still has his very distinct vocal sound. When I saw them on their very first tour in the US I was able ot talk to a few of the members of crossfaith (Me and the bassists talked about our rigs for 15 minutes, because his bass live was just cutting through the mix so well.) and they are very enthusiastic about the songs they write, they don't write them to fit into a genre, they write them because of their love of music. And that's okay because they can play and write songs any style they want. You don't chose what their style is, they do. I personally love this song. Has a very 90's sounding rock style, with some other influences, but I think its one of their best songs yet. Sure its not "as hard" or "as heavy" but its a well written song that keeps me intrigued from start to finish.

I don't think this is anywhere near their best song, but i love that they are fully embracing their electronic side. It definitely sounds inspired by the Qemists.. but that's fine in my opinion because they are a great fucking band. I wouldn't be a fan at all if there wasn't any kind of electronic elements. I think the perfect mix they have made from the genres was Photosphere in my opinion. Crossfaith, Please don't lose your elecronic/dance/dubstep side!

I guess people haven't istened to the 2 songs released with madness, listen to S.O.S and Dance With The Enemy, you'll see they're not selling out, or even trying to be different, this is just their debut on a big label, so they expect Crossfaith to sell, so they had to do a song like this, that doesn't mean they change.

Everyone is talking mess about just this ONE song. I'm pretty sure they won't be disappointed when you see them live. I'm a huge fan but i know everyone is different in style. Ok I have been a fan of Crossfaith for years since they near first started and remember seeing them play small venues in front of small crowds of about 50 in the stealth venue in Nottingham during Hit the Deck 2012 and I remember they opened up with "Omen" and I was instantly a huge fan and got destroyed in the pits with Ken and couldn't stop listening after that and the Zion Ep will always be my favourite album cant beat quasar and leviathan and then they released the apocalyse album and I was a bit sceptical but then after a few listens I warmed up to the change of style but this song shows me they are too far gone to make anything like the zion ep again which is really disheartening after seeing them 5 times and having the best gigs ever :/ even if I listen to this song 1000 times over I don't think I can get on board with this so I think I will take the 3 maybe even 4 decent albums they made and say goodbye to crossfaith unless the new album kicks ass which by the sound of this track wont be happening... :(
